Imagine repairing Stroll’s car having seen him chuck it everywhere off the track in qualifying only for him to bin it on the formation lap

Absolutely embarrassing from Stroll after all the hours the Aston mechanics have put in.

Why is only Norris under investigation? 15 or so cars moved so they should all be penalised, you don’t just blindly follow the car ahead

F1 don't help themselves at times, why are the pitcrews back out seems silly

Yeah... Even Verstappen, when he eventually moved, did he do so on a green light?

Annoyingly, it looks like Mclaren themselves have dropped the ball, as they need to be advising him here

Because the race start turned into a mess, so to fix it they've delayed the race start by 10-mins, when that happens the pitcrews come back out.

I know but time they get there they'll go back in  :D

Just long enough to heat the tyres a bit more though

Norris must have one of the worst records at race starts of all time. Always seems to be at least a place or two down, on where he qualified, by the time he gets to turn 2.

Was hoping the midfield might make Max's life hard.

I know Verstappen is  a hate figure on here but he's absolutely flying at the moment.
He's so good in the wet.

    Yeah he's winning this...

Dont think anyone is making it easy for him, they just cant cope in the conditions like him

Dont think anyone has issue with him on here when he's like this

Its when he turns into a whinging toddler

Gosh the Merc looks absolutely horrific to drive for Lewis. Really nice move from Ollie though.

  • Verstappen has been immense in the wet for years. Hamilton used to be the only one who could live with him in these conditions, but Lewis is looking like a fading force this weekend.

Verstappen looking absolutely nailed on for a podium and highly likely to win this race.

He’s still a prick but there’s never been any question he’s an incredibly talented prick. If he wins here it’ll be the kind of drive you get from the all time greats - Senna at Donnington for example.

It makes his aggression and belligerence all the more silly because he plenty talented enough not to need to do it.

Leclerc seems to be holding him up a bit now though.
  • Red Bull will be in the phone ti VCARB here to make sure Tsunodo pits at the right time to help Verstappen.

Oh wow... Didnt realise that Russell and Hamilton are under investigation for changing tyre pressure after the 10-minute warning... Russell is going to win and get DSQ again isnt he lol!

Leclerc putting for inters seems a bizarre decision
  • Incredibly difficult conditions, but you can’t help thinking if Verstappen was in Norris’ car he would’ve cleared Russell ages ago.
  • I’ll say it again, Verstappen always gets ridiculous luck with the timing of safety cars.

The fact that 18 cars are still racing in these conditions is quite remarkable
