Normal parking restrictions apply which means you can park in one of the bays from 16.30 onwards.1

Apparently Bromley have sold out the away end. Not sure we’ve shifted 500 tickets in the home end yet.0

That doesn't necessarily mean they've sold out the entire Jimmy Seed Stand.3 -

That makes more sense. Do you know what their allocation was?0 -

Last I heard they had sold 2000 -

I've got no idea on a team for tonight, hoping some of the U21s get a game. Would really like to see Kedwell have a chance0
-
Covered end, Henry, CLB 74 have their half and half Bromley/Charlton Scarves; be quick while stocks last !0

Against my better judgement I went into the shop this afternoon to buy a ticket for tonight. I gave the guy on desk my fan ID and put my bank card on the reader. It showed approved. The system couldn't print the ticket. I was told to do the transaction again. I checked my internet banking and it showed the payment as pending (along with 2 payments at local stores). I said I'd leave it and not attend the game and lose the money. Eventually the manager told the guy on the counter to issue a ticket but they might ask for the money.0

I'm expecting a very young side
Rylah should get a game. Would have been perfect for Dixon but he'll be away in Jamaica. I reckon Bower will get a game and maybe Zach and Josh Laq at the back too. Kedwell could get some minutes and we might see Mbick too
As much as we are down to the bare bones I want us to win, and win well.
Frustratingly I expect Hylton will get a game.

Toure and Josh Laq might get a run out, maybe off the bench. Toure near the end of his contract so they need to have a look at him.
Actually it could be an ideal game for Hylton with some many kids in the side.
No idea if Bromley will field a strong team. They have some big lumps but aren't very good so if we can match they physically we have a chance but it's a dead rubber and as much about giving the kids time as anything else.1 -
Should Miles Leaburn play in an act of redemption?
Or maybe an act of penance?0 -
13 first team players out for various reasons so I expect an under 21 team largely.

I watched Newcastle beat Forest away from home despite going behind to a much improved Forest team by using the width of the pitch with Gordon going wide and then being replaced by Barnes. Not wingers per se but forwards similar to a higher calibre than Taylor and Grant who could drift between central or wide to receive a pass. With Isak who can play wide or central they have many options.
When you have skill in the middle of the pitch it makes sense to have wide players or forwards who will drift wide to make for room for passes.
This may be CAFC problem !
I always feel that a box midfield is to negate more than to create unless you have flying wingbacks prepared to do the crossing and are encouraged to supply the two strikers especially when one is 6ft 6in.
Keep remembering the crosses against Chelsea U21 and wondering if we could emulate against hairy arsed 3rd tier defenders 🤔
No Small tonight as I would've liked to see the same against a new team in League 2.

Why do we bother with this crappy comp? It must cost more to staff it than we'll ever get back. Stick reserves out there, give 1st team squad a rest and then work on winning league games, we need promotion not a bloody egg cup!1

The only way of avoiding this utterly pointless shit competition is to get promoted.
I expect we will be playing it until we change our senior management team for proper professional's2 -
I'd say losing to Bromley would be worse than losing to Northwich Victoria. Northwich Victoria have a long rich history, playing as high as the second tier. Bromley on the other hand are a teddybear club, an absolute joke of football team - less famous locally than the Glades shopping centre.0

when is the draw for the knockout stages0
-
Updated Southern Section after tonight's games:
Group Winners:- Walsall
- Wycombe
- Charlton
- Peterborough
- Colchester
- Burton
- Exeter
- Cheltenham
- Birmingham
- Wimbledon
- Cambridge
- Stevenage
- Leyton Orient
- Northampton
- Swindon
- Reading
Also means currently 0 Under 21 sides through in the South. In the North Manchester United and Aston Villa are through as things stand. But a Huddersfield goal against Manchester United U21's in the last half hour would change that.0 -
We're going to end up facing Birmingham arent we!!1

Out of that Southern section only the possibility of Wimbledon away would see me bother attending one of these games, been to all the other grounds. With a very winnable Southern section you just know it'll be Birmingham at home next who will then probably beat us and then draw Wimbledon away the round after.0
