Coventry finally being taken off. What a bang average footballer he is
  • Exeter Goalkeeper down receiving "treatment"
  • I wonder if Jones will bemoan the lack of basics being done correctly again, I'd hazard a guess as to yes
Tbf, we haven’t done the basics

AMB does not instill confidence in me (or the rest of the back 4)

A Mitchell is a shadow of the player he is with Jones next to him

    incredibly attacking team now
  • Jones in his post match interview - he's furious as the players didn't follow his instructions etc etc.

I’ve said it a few times before, but how were Campbell and Docherty playing championship football last season? They are shit and don’t even look good enough for league 1. Truly bizarre.
    Ben Watson Syndrome
They’re not old players well past their best, they’re only 26 and 28.

Been good holding up the ball at times, but what can you do as a Striker with the service that he's been getting today...

Going all out to...scrape a draw?!!

Bring on Ahadme, whose biggest strength is aerial. Take off Taylor who’s the only player who can cross a ball, MAKE IT MAKE SENSE
And now Coventry comes off, meaning there was no real reason not to leave Taylor on and just take Docherty off instead.

He just doesn't offer enough. It's like if Ben Purrington was a midfielder.

Dont give a shit what the Manager or Players say, its just endless soundbites now - You'll never truly get their opinion anymore, as every word will get micro analysed, by the likes of you.

Do people seriously not hear the same thing being said by every Manager / Player and not hear it coming across just a bit differently?

NJ hates any criticism - even suggested he would leave if fans wanted to pick the team.

Transfer policy  has been bizarre and we see it again today in this game.

The team looks imbalanced and slow - sad to say this, but Exeter look better.

Even if we get something out of the game in the last 15 mins, the performance has not been good enough.

No real threat upfront, even with 3 decent strikers on the pitch

And this has been my defence of Ahadme. A valid point in both cases.

It’s gotten so bad that a fan is BEGGING for DANNY HYLTON to come on, perhaps the dentist should have got us liquidated and we should have started again from scratch
  • That's a lovely ball
  • Lucky omen. We equalised here 3 minutes from time last year.

We are playing so well I'm confident history will repeat itself.

The only Strike partnership that has truly been effective is Godden and Kanu because they've been so mobile together

They were playing in their proper positions in the Champ
Is that really a good enough excuse? Move from slightly defensive mid to slightly attacking mid and suddenly you go from competent professional to pub league?

And Docherty has played in various roles and been anonymous in all of them except the Birmingham game, which increasingly looks an anomaly. .
