    Is that really a good enough excuse? Move from slightly defensive mid to slightly attacking mid and suddenly you go from competent professional to pub league?

    And Docherty has played in various roles and been anonymous in all of them except the Birmingham game, which increasingly looks an anomaly. . 
    It's not an excuse for not being able to control or pass a football. But it at least mitigates the fact that they're being played somewhere they're completely ineffective. Blame should be on NJ, there.

    We've really signed a load of players on the way down in their careers haven't we. Godden, Docherty, Campbell, Berry and Hylton all miles off where they were as players

    Well you just can’t miss chances like that at any level and expect to win. No excuses there and exactly the players you’d have chosen to get the opportunity.
