Was on a train so only managed to watch some of the game via my phone, it often stopped working completely. Good to read that Enslin did well, I didn’t think he’d disappoint.

It’ll be interesting to see if he gets in the squad for league games in the near future. Being left footed and versatile will only help his chances.

A perfect evening, Nathan Jones showing he has still got it and that he is as passionate as they come, a deflected goal, clean sheet, only around 20 misplaced passes, Gillesphey back to what he does best - those diagonal punts to no one are going to hurt someone eventually, midfield only looking like elephants in quick sand - not the usual leaden footed geriatrics and the Bromley keeper being forced to make two saves. All this against Bromley reserves. Just a shame that we couldn't get the icing on a rather tasty cake and seen a cameo from Alan Campbell
Even at 76 he would still be better than Allan

On another note, I can't see why/how Rylah keeps getting the nod ahead of other youngsters. He has had a few chances now and looked way out of his depth each time.

Is it just Bower and Huke now we haven't seen from the U21s in terms of outfield regulars? Would have thought Bower might have got a look tonight and I think Huke is injured?

Agreed, personally don't think he has a future at this level based on what I've seen unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong.

Not sure the two GKs have played yet, neither have some of the defenders?

Well that is why we will not be getting g promoted this season. Most of that team are first team regulars and most of our players looked no better than the Bromley players. You could not tell who was league one and who league 2.

Nah I don't recall Hunter,Toure, Gough or Hobden getting a look in. Was surprised Reid didn't play over AMB given Ash's tendency for injuries and no timeframe on Mannion.

If they fine Berry a week's wages for that performance, I don't think he could argue

David Bowie, Enid Blyton, Napoleon III, Rob Beckett, your boys took one hell of an average beating
Someone's just gone and Googled "famous Bromley residents"!

Napoleon III actually lived in Chislehurst - in the building that's now the golf club (Camden Place). And his son - the Prince Imperial - was killed in the Zulu war. There's a memorial to him on Prince Imperial Road on the common.

    I think they were Palace.

  • are we out yet?

Was 7 rows behind Nathan Jones And the ball was definitely off the pitch. The world has gone mad.

Ahadme in the second half actually did show his control and hold up ability - he created what should have been a goal by REG's head! He played better with Leaburn tha n  Godden.
