  • I've not had a tv for 15 years, I've never used my landline is there anywhere I can just get broadband ?
Apart from hacking into next doors wifi, if you find any Bob, please let me know!
  • Got Zen now. Great speeds and superb customer service.
  • I'm currently paying £38 a month with Virgin for 350mb and a TiVo box, which for me works like Freeview, the aerial on my roof was already not working when I moved in 3 years ago, but virgin uses their cables, so it works well for me! Will have to move to IPTV when I leave them, but the TiVo recording features are very good in my opinion.

Their link up with o2 is actually pretty good for customers, if you have both O2 and virgin they upgrade your broadband package one notch (I'm paying for 250mb/s) and your phone data package too (I'm getting 50gb a month, paying for 30). Which is great because Virgin broadband is down so fucking much, you can use your phone data plan and still be able to work from home.
  • I threatened to leave Virgin so they knocked my monthly payment down to £21 for a volted 250mb internet connection. All it took was a friendly 10 minute chat.
  • I've cancelled the TV and just have broadband with them now. 350mb for £26 a month. Shame as they've recently updated the UI and it's pretty decent now.

I had TIVO but the 360 box is far better. I have read the controller is not as good as Sky's equivalent but when you master it I think it is better.

    I preferred TIVO.
If your broadband goes down you can’t watch any recorded programmes.
If you want to watch cricket on the slowest fast forward because you are catching up, you have a bleeding great arrow in the middle of the screen.
