They pressured the ref and it worked. It's something we never do, even after some of the horror challenges we've had this season

Why did the ref stop play. Wasn’t a head injury! Then he holds up the restart til the make a sub???

Only following on here but the consensus seems to suggest it was a red?
50/50. Seen then given & seen them not. In Rugby it would be 10 mins in the sin bin.

    Pen for me though.

That throw in just about sums us up

    What was that throw in?!
  • Docherty reputed to be on £8500 per week, slightly more than A Campbell, but below Godden and top earner Berry who barely plays. GD got a pay rise from his Hull wages.

Was the red card tackle worse than the one on TC?

    HT 1-1
  • HT 1-1...we have been stretched at times, but deserve on balance the half time score line...
Be interesting to see how we set up second half, but 1-1 full time would take now...
Ref has totally cocked up and ruined this game...
    COYR...

No... Docherty was going for the ball and caught the man, the Wrexham man was attempting to stop TC

Probably a red there… stupid by Docherty.

I don’t see us getting much “better” than Jones and he is on a 5 year contract, which will cost a small fortune to pay out.

We can’t keep chopping and changing managers and I think we need to start looking at this as a work in progress instead of wanting instant success.

We are shit, but we were shit under Appleton, Garner, Adkins and Jackson all of which lasted under a year.

Give jones another summer and judge him next year I think. Not ideal, but the conveyor belt hasn’t worked for us and it’s time to change approach.

To the poster and those that have liked this, how bad does it have to get for you? What makes you think that Jones will get it right in another window when he hasn’t got it right this one? He was allowed to sign players he picked, we had the fourth highest budget in the league with 2 of the clubs in front of us having ridiculous money that you can’t expect us to compete with, it’s all well and good saying that we need to give him time but there’s absolutely no positives right now. None.
    Chicken george???

That was pretty poor and disjointed, we are lucky to be level. Some of the defending has been shocking
  • Second half could be interesting, some filthy black clouds closing in ...

We have 0 chance of promotion this season and I would be shocked if Nathan Jones is in the dugout come the end of the season. This club is cursed.

Nonsense. Our highest earner is in fact Chuks (lol) on £7k.

Predictably dull, and the red card means more of the same in the second half.

Will Jones put TC on to add some pace or will that be too attacking for him? We can’t continue with Godden on the wing.

Thought it hilarious that the ref spoke to the Huds player before sending off Doc.
as if he's going to say 'Nah wasn't a red ref, he was just a bit late'
