I still think it’s highly unlikely. Yes we’re very much in touch which a few weeks ago I didn’t think was possible but let’s be honest, we’re not a very convincing team despite our recent run of results. Two days of the window to get in a couple of players that might help tip the balance but I think we’ll fall short. I’m still thinking 9th2

Still no for me. However i have had the shit kicked out of me by Charlton over the years...0

Obviously need to keep this form up for the rest of the season.
And then hopefully they will see it is worth that extra investment, as so nearly there.
If we finished half way or lower, they might consider the investment needed just too much
Now of course I think we’d invest if we were to get promoted, but beyond Lloyd Jones, Small and maybe Miles I’m not sure how many more of our current squad could be starters in the Championship if we want to survive.
I don't think we'd be battered though, as we'd obviously strengthen. We also played reasonably well against Preston who are a perennial mid-table Championship side.

Given all our home games against weaker sides and that we now require 32 points from 19 games (to secure 75) I'm minded to go to the bookies before the odds drop!1 -

I'm not convinced. I don't think our midfield is strong enough.0

Will we make the playoffs?
I think we will at some point…..but whether or not we stay there until the playoffs themselves is another question.0 -
We will if we have a good transfer window.0

Next round of games - Stockport V Barnsley and Huddersfield v Reading. Orient and Wrexham both not playing.2

could have been sitting nicely on 46 points, and looking to take on hudders and stockport0

On that basis its ridiculous alone to be worrying about the Final League table at this stage.5 -
Disappointing not to get the 3 points but not a disaster given the results around us.3
-
Two home games up next. Get four points from those and the top six charge remains on.
One defeat in 11.4 -

Orient's winning run coming to an end is good news, even if it is to a playoff rival, as it ends the incredible momentum they had.3

One defeat in 11.
Multiple teams in and around the fringes with 44 points from 28 games (1.57 ppg). Making the points total target lower at just 73.
75 points from 46 games would be 1.63 ppg. It’s possible/probable that one or two teams go on a mini run between now & May and the target jumps by a couple of points but I can’t see it being anywhere close to 80 now.
18 games to go, 31 points required.
11 wins
10 wins, 1 draw
9 wins, 4 draws
8 wins, 7 draws
7 wins, 10 draws3 -
Huddersfield right in it now so we have three places to play for as it stands. A number of other clubs being in and around it is a challenge but we have as much chance and anyone.1
-
Need results against the teams in and around it, we’ve got some great momentum at the moment1
-
Win next weekend against Stevenage and we’ll be top six guaranteed - Orient aren’t playing because of their cup tie.2

It won’t be as easy as it perhaps looked a couple of weeks back - they’ve come into a bit of form. Stevenage have now won three in a row including away at Barnsley and Wrexham.0
-
Just keep picking up points, it don’t matter what the teams around us do, we just need to keep picking up the points,3
