Great Qualifying session for the season opener - Australia has certainly been harsh on the Rookies.
Lawson already looks like walking wounded, (and Bearman and Kimi too).  Eventually they will have to replace him with Tsunoda.

Less said about the second Haas, the better... thank god we've seen what Bearman can do on other F1 weekends

Great rides from Tsunoda and Albon. I’m a Williams fan and really looking forward to Albon and Sainz battling for top spot this season

The big question is whether Ferrari have set up for the rain.

Have they said if it was a car issue or just a setup mishap for Kimi?

I thought Ted (?) said at the time, that a bit of the car broke when he went wide at a corner?

Spoke to one of my staff who is out there with a client just now and he said it’s freezing! And he didn’t pack a warm coat so bought one today and asked if he can expense it.

Knowing him I’m gonna get a receipt for a Canada Goose.

Yup... Been awake all night, so Hadjar doing that is not ideal lol! - This is going to be a brutal race for the rookies!!

Yep, 2hrs sleep as woke at 2 and couldn’t get back off. Last thing wanted was an aborted start!

Amount of yellow and red flags with this one could be silly

Absolute class from Anthony Hamilton then. Hadjar on his own and Tony takes the lead in looking after the lad.

Frankly you’d expect no less. You only need to look back to the aftermath of Abu Dhabi a few years back to see how well that family has been raised.

“That’s a distraught young man - nobody wants to see that…”

as we see a shot of a cameraman walking in front of Hadjar with his camera in his face…

The non Verstappen Red Bull drivers are all doing their very best to make Tsunoda look good this weekend.

Worst possible outcome for Doohan, who will have to worry about Colapinto if he doesnt perform

Shortest F1 career in history? One lap?

The graphic not having times on it is quite annoying. Noticed it was stuck earlier, but would’ve thought that’d be a reasonably easy fix.

Even with the rain and most of the track being DRS zone, it’s in danger of turning into a procession. Not unusual for Albert Park. I get it’s probably geographically logical but this track is often not the most exciting for a season opener.

That was a hilarious radio exchange between Leclerc and his engineer.

Bit surprised they haven’t red flagged it. Tight spot on a wet straight where someone has just binned it and they’ll need a crane on track.

These Marshal's have been so slow with their clear up

Going to be a brave strategy call from Haas by the looks of it, as they seem to be gambling on everyone stopping for inters again
