Really hope it works out for Yuki, he genuinely deserves this chance

Nothing about Lawson actually racing for VCARB instead of Yuki though, instead I'm reading into it too much

Yeah I think he's got to make this work otherwise I don't see how he stays on the grid for next season.
  • Seems that Lawson will drive for Racing Bulls

Until Marko wants Lindblad by Silverstone.
  • If Yuki does well I can see Lawson being dropped entirely as soon as Lindblad is allowed in.

I didn't think he was impressive in any of his races he filled in for so I was surprised when he got the main seat, and I think very quickly Red Bull have realised what a cock up it is.
  • This is quite funny from the New Zealand Herald

13-year old British karter: Noah Baglin has joined the Ferrari Driver Academy, first person to join in two years.

Know much about him @DamoNorthStand, as you always seem to have really good knowledge of the karting scene?

Why?, Im sure he would go back to RacingBulls where he's done well, the second Red Bull seat is known to be a poisoned chalice so shouldn't damage his reputation.

They do mention that Tsunodas greater experience may help resolve some of the issues in the car which sort of makes sense.

Don’t think going back to RB is an option, they’ll want to get someone younger in there as soon as they can

He’s a few years younger than my son - I do vaguely remember when he was a young kid starting out. Didn’t strike me then as being particularly outstanding (as opposed to Kenzo Craigie who was ballistically quick from the get go).

Motorsport is even more money driven than ever before so hard to read to much into it

That's pretty impressive. Would be surprised if we saw him this season with his existing stacked programme but it's a good marker.
  • Helmut Marko doing a reasonable job of spinning Lawson's demotion as a positive for him to rebuild his confidence: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/articles/ckgzg0mjkero
  • So VCARB have a white Red Bull Livery

It now looks like Red Bull will have a white Red Bull livery for Suzuka as well

Thats not going to be confusing is it... At least Yuki should feel at home

They should just have all 4 cars in the same livery every race. It's not like VCARB are genuinely autonomous of Red Bull.
  • Haas are doing a special livery too

  • Going to be a nightmare weekend for commentators

I remember watching F2 a couple of years ago and there was about 6 or 7 Red Bull liveried cars

There are three of them in F2 this year.

there no reason why, sometimes individual teams used to have their two cars in different liveries. Gunnar Nilsson had a red Imperial Tobacco livery in Japan, whilst Andretti has the usual JPS for example.
