  • Leicester have set a somewhat unworthy PL record - seven consecutive home defeats and without scoring a goal.
Would have thought their manager could teach them how to score goals.
  • The break up of Liverpool is about to start. Reports today that Trent is close to accepting an offer to join Real Madrid. Salah and Van Dijk are still out of contract in 3 months.

Means that in the last 4 years Madrid will have signed Alaba, Rudiger, Mbappe and Trent for nothing*

*officially nothing but obviously not, as there will have been heavy signing on fees.
  • You would have to say they are the biggest FC in the world. I know Madrid are hated and I'm no fan but they usually get the players they want. They seem to be going down their galácticos route again

    Yep, and Trent Alexander Arnold

You don't rate him ? It's a weird one. He seems over rated by Liverpool fans and ex pros and pundits more than England fans.

Any player that wants to leave Liverpool suddenly becomes overrated by their fans. It was the same with Sterling.
  • Well, its been a brilliant 11 days for Spurs.
Two consecutive weekends without it being ruined by Big Ange and the Lillywhite Lightweights.

Shame it all comes to an end next Thursday for our annual defeat/no show at Stamford Bridge.
  • Another year, another financial farce allowed for Chelsea.

If you remember last year the owners sold a hotel to themselves to get around PSR. Well this year they've sold the women's team to themselves for well over 100m to get around it. The women's team has been 'sold' from Chelsea FC to the owners’s parent company BlueCo, allowing them to record a profit of 129m.

Imagine the uproar if this was Newcastle or Man City.

Given the rumoured ownership shenanigans behind the scenes and various members of the consortium falling out with each other , I wonder what tricks they'll try to pull next season

It's ridiculous that what they've done with sale of the hotels and women's team is actually within the Premier League rules. What a stupid rule that states an owner can sell parts of the club to himself, so long as the company is a different company.

  • Crazy that Tarkowski didn’t get sent off, he knew exactly what he was doing
  • Feels like so long since the last Premier League matches. They can’t be doing back to back international & FA Cup weekends, it’s not ethical.

Before tonight Liverpool and Villa last played a league game almost 4 weeks ago, March 8th.
  • How is that NOT offside?

Agree with you there, a shocker against both teams (not that they’re equal decisions)

You expect the Premier League to be "ethical"? Blimey, where have you been?
  • Bournemouth seem to be having the end of season collapse that we used to do back in our PL years, as their squad seems to have hit a wall. Out of the cup, and sliding out of European contention.

Feels worse as basically the title and relegation are all but decided so now the it coming back after a break it feels a bit 'so what?'.

Not offside according to the actual laws of football. But offside by Moyes rules!

    "actual laws of football"? LOL

You mean "an interpretation of the actual laws of football".

Yeah not much left to decide other than the European places.

Ipswich can at least give themselves some hope if they beat Wolves this weekend and reduce the gap to 6 points. But hope is all it would realistically be as they then face Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle in the next 3 games after.

had it been someone like Romero, I have no doubts that would have been red.
