Peterborough beat Birmingham at fairly long odds last weekend so anything can happen but I’m not expecting much out of Bristol Rovers, Peterborough or even Bolton tomorrow.

    Wrexham 2/5 Draw 4/1 Bristol R 11/2
Peterborough 9/4 Draw 7/2 Stockport EVS
    Bolton 6/4 Draw 9/4 Wycombe 7/4
    Charlton 4/7 Draw 11/4 Northampton 9/2

If the Peterborough we played turn up then Stockport could be in for a surprise.

Just hope they don’t have a hangover from winning at Wembley. They need another win or two to pull away from trouble so hopefully they’re on their game.
Few of them are playing for moves this summer so that might keep them going

Bolton are still capable of putting on a good performance, just not consistently enough. If they have a good day, then Wycombe could easily lose.

I refuse to rule out 2nd. Having watched Wrexham's last 2 games. The referee basically handed them the win vs Burton and they were awful vs 10 men for about 50 mins. They didn't even have a shot on target against Wigan.
I maintain that  tomorrow doesn’t mean anything, provided we win. Monday is huge with Wrexham going to Blackpool!
I always maintain the next week will decide our automatic chances (and whether or not we can hold them to the final day).

There is still to do regardless- solidify play offs then we can go for the big prize!! 🗡️🔴⚪
  • We need to see how the other results pan out but we can't drop any points in our last four games. Difficult but it is still on for us.

If we win we should be closer to one of the 3 above us as law of averages says one of them will drop points.
The dream is that 2 of them drop points (ideally Wrexham and Wycombe!)

I can see both Bolton & Peterborough winning. We just have to make s6ire we win too !

  • It’s now all about being the form team of the four that will be going into the play off matches to get the edge in those 3 very important games and that means going out to win each game starting today. No ifs, no buts, no hesitation, no nerves, no doubts, just belief and full support. Achieve that and getting into the playoffs takes care of itself, should secure a more preferable 3rd or 4th spot as opposed to 5th or 6th and just might nick the remaining automatic spot if the others do actually fuck it up.
  • Pissed off, just got a date for my knee replacement,7th May,so buggers me up for play off games, darent change it as may have to wait ages.
Have a late fitness test and hope to get on the bench.

I think it’s time to put to bed the idea that Wycombe are losing the plot and will go out with a whimper.
Might do after we land a blow on Monday

Their last three games will be against side really fighting for the Play-Off advantage or second now though; Huddersfield and Bolton's seasons are long done.
  • Biggest turnaround in a season in my time as a fan. Incredible job by all concerned since Northampton away in December.

I’m clinging onto the hope we can steal second. Wrexham’s equaliser today was a blow and goal difference means we’ll need Wycombe to lose two (obviously one of those will need to be vs us). Long odds on that but it’s what we have go for. At the very least we have to try and get third and let 4th and take care of each other because the top 5 are clearly a cut above the rest of the league.

This, Bolton was by far their easiest game, an away game at Orient who now have a chance to get 6th spot is a huge prospect
  • 88pts is still our ceiling for this season, if we get there we need to see Wycombe get no more than 3pts from Orient & Stockport and Wrexham get no more than 4pts from Blackpool & Lincoln.

By 5pm next Saturday we could be in a position where it's in our hands for automatic promotion (two wins against Wrexham & Burton would guarantee finishing 2nd).
  • Can't finish lower than 5th now
  • Can't finish lower than 5th now
    Who needs 5th when you’ve got 2nd.
  • We will finish 2nd if:

Charlton beat Wycombe, Wrexham and Burton
    &
Wycombe lose away at Orient OR at home to Stockport (max 3 points)
    &
Wrexham lose or draw away at Blackpool OR Lincoln (max 4 points)
What about Stockport ?  They are still in with a shout of 2nd.
