Norwich were dreadful ... and they have been in most of the Norwich games I've watched this year (quite a few because I tend to have that on alongside Charlton). There's plenty of nice passing but it never goes anywhere, they don't create too many chances (when they do they can't score) and there's always a defensive balls-up around the corner.
Normally the fans would be considering themselves starting next season with a six-point head-start because of their domination over the mob across the River Waveney over the last 20-odd years but I think even that would be in some doubt if Town can keep most of their first team together.0 -
Would be surprised if Norwich keep Sargent and Borja Sainz in the summer. Sargent almost went to MLS last summer for £15m and I can't see that kind of offer being turned down if someone came back in for him. Sainz I wonder if a newly promoted side offers a decent fee for .1

What is crazy about that stat is (with the exception of Bowyer) we did sack every manager who has lost against Millwall (in the 21st Century). Not after loosing to Millwall granted but it goes to show how many managers we went through since 2010.JohnnyJoeyDeeDee said:

Daily Mail reporting that Leeds are considering replacing Daniel Farke. Would be an interesting move. His PL record is poor and managing in the PL is very different to managing in the Championship. Would Leeds have a better chance of staying up with a manager with PL pedigree? And if so, who is out there with that pedigree?0

Interesting move if they do - there have been a few managers who have struggled following promotion from the Championship, but it is because they aren't suited to the Premier League, or that the gap is too big?

Both Farke and Parker have amazing records in the Champ and rubbish ones in the Prem. Can completely see why they would make the change given his previous experiences with Norwich, even if it's incredibly harsh on him.0

That would be crazy. Yes Norwich were a yo-yo side under Farke, but since they sacked him they've slid down to the Championship and stayed there.
I can't think of a successful PL manager out there who would take the Leeds job, leaving instead a series of managers who all got sacked by PL clubs anyway.0 -

good chat on Talk sport y/day on this topic .. turns out Farke's record is better than St Bielsa's .. QPR had finished 20th the year before, and when he came in they had only 8 points from 14 games. They'd lost 10 of those 14 games and then he only lost 10 of the remaining 32, he kept them up and this year has them in 15th so he's done a fairly good job there.ElfsborgAddick said:

I always find it ridiculous when rookie ‘project’ managers aren’t even given a pre season and summer window to get in their players and to implement their ideas. A 10 year plus experienced manager, through that experience, will be able to hit the ground running far quicker.
Mousinho at Portsmouth and Powell here really didn’t have that much of an impact on performances and results in their first ‘half’ season, but with a full summer behind them they both lead their clubs to promotion.
If you get a rookie manager mid season, prepare to have an underwhelming start but trust your process that they’re the right man going forward.

I thought Calderon was an interesting appointment and I didn't think they were too bad at The Valley (Josh Griffiths probably stopped it being a cricket score but they looked decent in possession) but he was the wrong man to try and save them whilst completely overhauling their style of play.

They weren't in the relegation places when he took over, and finished the season terribly, so no surprise Calderon went.
