Funnily enough, Lincoln are the only side in League One who can't go up or down. And in League Two, with 4 games to go, any of 8 clubs can still be champions. It's been one of those seasons of mediocrity in the EFL and probably demonstrates quite why so many teams fail to hold their own these days when they get promoted.

Yes I looked at the other divisions after I posted and realised Lincoln are the only side in League One guaranteed to be in it next year.
In League Two the only two are Cheltenham and Gillingham.
as heard on comms for todays game "Charlton havent lost an Easter Monday game for 20 years - last coming against Liverpool!"
Since losing 2-1 to Liverpool in the Premier League in April 2003, Charlton are now unbeaten across their 14 league games played on Easter Monday (W11 D3).

If only the Solly red card at the den in the 1st half had been played on the Easter Monday and not the Good/bad Friday we may have held on for the 1 nil win 🤦🏼♂️

After the feeding of the 5000, raising Lazarus, walking on water and turning water into wine, the biblical miracles would be too far fetched to include getting anything against them.
There is a scenario where Coventry could get promoted to the Premier League this season, and Preston get relegated to League One with Coventry having lost more games than Preston.
If Doncaster lose at Notts County on Saturday and Port Vale fail to beat Gillingham the Champions of the fourth tier will have the second lowest points total in the 3 points for a win era (excluding the COVID season).
The only team to ever win the fourth tier with lower than Doncaster's current total of 81 points was Shrewsbury with 79 in 1993/94 (and Shrewsbury only played 42 games, not 46).

It is still possible for every side to either get promoted/make the playoffs or get relegated.
