Leny Yoro has been at Man United for 13 months and still hasn't started in a win against a current Premier League side.
    He did yesterday.

West Brom u18 striker Justin Seven-Seven scored in the 7th minute in their 5-0 win over Ipswich u18s.
If he makes it as a pro, then if his squad number isn't 77 i'll be sorely disappointed.
Pleased to report that according to t'internet he wears number 77 in training, so I guess it's not something he's opposed to.

Ernest Mangnall is one of only three men who have ever won the league title as manager of Manchester United (the other two are rather easier to guess). Here he is sporting a rather wonderful hat-tache combination.

I think this fact may be missing a word!

Thanks Sporadic. I've now rearranged my word salad into something which hopefully makes sense.

James Milner is the 2nd youngest and 2nd oldest goal scorer in the Premier League.
Behind James Vaughan and Teddy Sheringham respectively.
  • Carlisle won at Brackley in the National League the other evening, and join Scunthorpe as having won at St. James' Park in three different locations.

I wonder how many teams have won at 2 different St James Parks and 2 different Highburys (Arsenal & Fleetwood).

It would save the fans money if they got a Repro shirt.

The Premiership need 14 clubs to vote together to effect rule changes.

Americans have control of nine Premiership clubs and nine Championship clubs.  There is yet more American ownership in the lower leagues, including one sleeping giant in SE London.

Back to the rule of 14 ... Would it be in American interests to move matches to the States or maybe introduce a no relegation rule in line with the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and MLS?

They ARE already trying to introduce no relegation for 17 clubs. It’s called FSR.

With five goals in four games, this is Erling Haaland’s worst-ever start to a Premier League season.

And yet 12 goals in his first 7 matches for club and country is his best ever start to a season in the 9 years since he started playing professional football.

Not a single home win in any of the 12 Championship matches during the week. No idea how rare this is but the odds must have been pretty big.
  • In last nights Europa league game, Roma missed the same penalty three times v Lille.

First one was saved but had to be retaken after defenders encroached into the area, second one was saved but the keeper moved too early, the third one was saved.
  • Rangers have had more permanent managers in the last 4 years than they had in the clubs first 70 years of existence.

  • Across the 11-12 and 12-13 season Messi's record for Barcelona was:

    110 games.
    133 goals.
    45 assists.

    178 G/A in 110 games.

It's unlikely we will ever see such numbers again.

Michael Owen scored in every single knockout game he played in for England at major tournaments.
  • Italy haven't had a player who's scored 30 international goals in more than 50 years.

They've never had one who's scored more than 35.
  • Isaac Price has scored twice as many international goals as he has club goals.

Wait until you hear about Kaheim Dixon

Nope, he's the other way round if anything - 7 club goals, 3 for Jamaica.

For club and country, Harry Kane (18 in 10) and Erling Haaland (21 in 12) have 39 goals in 22 games between them and have only failed to score in two of those.
  • Erling Haaland became the fastest player to reach 50 international goals, breaking Harry Kane's record by achieving the milestone in just 46 matches compared to Kane's 71.

    25 matches faster is ridiculous.

Add Mbappe (17 in 13) and it's 56 goals in 35 games, only failing to score in 3 games.

    Sounds like playground football.
