I went to Dartford heath on Saturday having not run there for a couple of years. I had forgotten how nice it was, made a bit easier to run as the course had dried out considerably. I even spotted a couple of fellow Addicks on the way round.2

Ticked off another Suffolk one today, nuffink special….0

Charlton this morning, pretty breezy but all good.Discovered today that Ingrebourne Hill had changed my time from last week so I finally hit stopwatch bingo after 297 runs. Bit of a damp squid finding out seven days late, though!3

A record 610 runners in the sunshine in Hastings yesterday. Am glad to be back Parkrunning again!2

Just seen footage of the Beijing half with robots. One looked a bit terminator like. When interviewed after, he vowed that he'd be back. I note the fastest was slower than my half time the other week by more than minute. Can't help feeling they've wasted their time and money making them if that's the best they can do 🤣1

Completed my 300th Parkrun on Saturday, at Ingrebourne hill, also my fastest for 2 years.15

The funny thing I find with Parkruns is that, and I'm not trying to bragg here, but having done over 250 now and never yet gone over 30 mins (but getting ever closer to it) I always feel almost surprised to get over the line. Ridiculous really.
Lymington Woodside today. Made it over the line again 😉

Avery Hill for me this morning! Pacers are always great and perfect weather for it. A bit too hungover but did manage to get under 26 mins0

Barcode reading at Shorne today due to knee injury. I started reading the Knee Injury thread but it was too depressing !0

Roundshaw Downs today, I think that means I don’t have to go to Croydon again…
Especially as the gurning virgins were over-represented today. I should’ve bought a villa shirt…0

First time at Battersea today, just 1310 runners, wouldnt want the funnel manager’s job on a day like that1

I never understand how the funnels work there, blows my mindHoldkneebomb said:First time at Battersea today, just 1310 runners, wouldnt want the funnel manager’s job on a day like that0

Rather fell out of love with running after London marathon last year. Six months off then lost 3 stone and started Cto5k Nov 5th last year, with target of getting back to 70% parkrun. Achieved it at Gunnersbury today, 24:05 for 70.97% 12 12

Charlton parkrun for me and my other half yesterday. She ran her fastest parkrun time in 10 years! super proud of her, blew me away.

46th consecutive parkrun for me now, staggering. Holiday is booked but if I don’t get crook or lazy I will have done 52 on the spin the day before I fly…
51st different location this morning too but whilst lovely it was too hot for a good time for me….5

I'm on 51 different locations too, only one of which counts as a Londone one. Another reservoir slog for me today, my tenth 'dam' run at Rutland Water 😉Fumbluff said:46th consecutive parkrun for me now, staggering. Hit my 300th parkrun last week at Hilly Fields - not bad for someone who started doing it as rehab for a broken ankle...
Went over to Stockley Country parkrun, just north of Heathrow, yesterday. A decent trail run, a bit narrow in parts - I wouldn't like to be there when it's busy.I've now done 61 of the 65 runs in London.12

Have you done Greenwich ParkRun and Avery Hill ParkRun?0
-

I've done Avery Hill under its old name a couple of times - I'm not a massive fan of it, to be honest.WSS said:Have you done Greenwich ParkRun and Avery Hill ParkRun?0

I’ve done those, you’ll likely not be surprised that I would rank them in the order of;InspectorSands said:

Southall preferred to northala for me, nice volunteers including a bloke in a wheelchair who takes hundreds of photosFumbluff said:

Yeah there’s not a lot in it but after the run at Northala I got to make a cross-your-heart-bra shape on strava, winner-winner-chicken-dinnerHoldkneebomb said:

Yeah, I'm not expecting much from Hanworth, other than the nice cafe by Feltham station... but we'll see!Fumbluff said:

Lordship recreation ground on Saturday. Tried to put my foot down at the end, but there was nothing there. All my energy had been used up on Thursday night. What a night!!1

Enjoyed my debut at the Hackney Half yesterday. Great running weather, better crowds than the big half I thought as well.
All contributed to an unplanned 2nd best time of 1hr 34mins-ish.10

Great time! Was my debut at Hackney as well, as well as my first half. Went out too fast, got caught up in all the atmosphere so ended walking last few KMs. Was on track for a 1:50 time but ended with 2:13 so a bit gutted but glad I managed to finish. Crowd was so good!WSS said:Enjoyed my debut at the Hackney Half yesterday. Great running weather, better crowds than the big half I thought as well.
