I went to bed at full time, thank feck.
Himself whispered 'Orient' as I slipped out the bedroom.

Got to feel for Stockport, lost their top scorer in January, overcame that to finish 3rd, didn't lose either play off leg and they're out.
As @Braziliance said, we won't get a better chance of promotion.
Option A - beat Wycombe at home and then Orient at Wembley.
Option B - slug it out over 46 games with the likes of Stockport, Reading, Plymouth, Cardiff, Luton, Huddersfield and Bolton next season.
It's pretty clear what is best, we have to get this done.10 -

2 wins could significantly change the course of our clubs history.

Orient's win other than the obvious great organisation, tireless running and tackling as well as taking a clear cut chance, showed the necessity of taking and scoring penalties whilst keeping cool in front of hostile Stockport fans. I hope we don't need them, nevertheless, I am sure we have been practising just in case0

I'm genuinely surprised. Thought Stockport were a dead cert for the final. Fair play Orient.5

Just gone for a 2.5 hour walk. Not helped one bit 😂0

I had a feeling Orient would do it - they came into the play offs on brilliant form, and had to keep going to make sure they beat Reading to the last spot. If we beat Wycombe, they will be tough opponents. If we don't, they'll go up.2

I think if you were a Stockport fan you would probably declare that the teams finishing deserted them at the very moment they needed it. I thought that Stockport were the better side in the second half and in extra time, with the two misses coming from route one. Disappointing for them but they have had a fantastic season.2

QPR potentially? I don't think Cifuentes will go back now he's on gardening leave.0 -

I'd imagine most (if not all) Orient fans will be cheering Wycombe on tonight.
We got a bit of stick from their supporters for our "over exuberant" celebrations when we scored our late goals at Brisbane Rd, mockingly saying we treated it like we'd won the league. Well, hopefully we can repeat it at Wembley, so they can see what 40,000 "nutters" looks like.
On a personal note, I'm glad they beat stockport. Now we just need to make sure we don't make the same mistake.0 -

He already turned down numerous L1 jobs when Stockport were a L2 club.2 -
Wasn't it rumoured he'd turned us down? Before Micky Apples was appointed maybe?3

This season Bloomfield left Wycombe for Luton, while Selles left Reading for Hull. Ainsworth previously left Wycombe for QPR, while our Jones left Luton for Stoke.0 -

Another good example is Paul Hurst who took Shrewsbury to Wembley in 2018 (beating us in the semis), but after losing then left to take over at Ipswich. Shrewsbury were never L1 promotion contenders again.0 -

Yeah was approached and didn't want to leave Stockport. Think he was the No1 choice2 -
charltonkeston said:Callumcafc said:Betfair says 61% Charlton, 39% Wycombe. We have an advantage but it’s still far from over. For context, same place has Stockport at 67% and Orient at 33%.
They have lost twice in the league and drawn once this season with us and failed to score on two recent matches.
We will win because we are the better team, we are playing at home and their current form isn't as good as ours. I know that is being big headed but we have beaten better teams this year.0 -

I think he totally blanked us and did not even want an interview.

DRAddick said:Just watched the Orient highlights. Stockport should have had at least one penalty which was blatant. What with the offside in the first leg, Orient have definitely had the luck of the decisions. But then Stockport had plenty of good chances in both games and it shouldn't have got to penalties.
They gave away a criminal goal early on and then missed some golden chances to win the game and paid the price.1 -
Will we get a VAR decision to cry about in the final
I mean it’s usually always the refs fault when we lose0 -
I met a few Irish lads in the pub before the last Wembley play off & have kept in contact with them since. They been over for a few games, was due to met up for the Exeter home game back in Feb. We didn’t meet and said to them in a WhatsApp message see you at WEMBLEY.4
