Surely got to play better than that in the final, it was almost too consuming.
Well done all, Wembley awaits.10 -
First game back at the valley in a long time and the first without my grandad who has passed, very special night, loved it.
hoping I can get final ticket but guessing it’s unlikely21 -

Relief more than jubilation for me because there’s still one more result needed to make it mean anything. Credit to Wycombe for making it a tough game but we were deserving of the win over the two legs in the end.
It was typical of why we are where we are. Dogged and solid at the back and just kept going in attack. Eventually one broke for us and fitting it was Godden sniffing out the chance to seal the deal. Sunday’s ref probably would have (wrongly) blown for a foul on the keeper, but thankfully today’s ref was a lot better.
Incredible noise all game. Wish I could’ve been there. Now to try and scrape together enough cents for a flight home for me and my eldest.

Not sure what people expected. Simply put, Wycombe can't compete with us in a footballing competition. They tried it at their place in the league and got thumped, so in the playoffs they did everything possible to stop a football match breaking out, and it nearly worked for them.

Alex Gilbert! Not just provided some creativity and a few sublime passes (forwards!), but he also got stuck in and tackled in the press to good effect. Thought he was brilliant.49

I have no idea why he hasn’t started more games.5 -

But only because I only got to my seat as we were about to kick off. Bloody buses. No idea what happened to the 202.
As for the game itself. Awful. I don't want to say too much because tonight's not the night......but thank fuck we have a defender who knows which way the goal is (even though he didn't in the first half) because if it had gone to penalties Docherty & Coventry's would have gone sideways !
Anyway........see you all at Wembley 😃.6 -
IR94 said:The side is miles behind the 2019 one in terms of quality, and it was a hard watch, but we have this fantastic work ethic and belief, credit Jones for that
2019 might have had a little more spark/creativity - but this team is defensively solid and tactically miles ahead5 -
Bryan Adams chaos at North Greenwich.Who was the dopey lifer that went to that instead???5

Ambrose got it spot on; Wycombe / Dodds were too worried about stopping us, than winning it.11

I think Orient play very good football, and that will actually create a better game for us to also show our qualities.
We are the late goal team this season. Never known anything like it. Hopefully we can perform at Wembley.11 -

Anyone got a linked to NJs post match interview2

A few MOMs for me tonight ! Alex Gilbert was a class above - superb vision and passing and I hope that we can get him this summer. Ramsay, Jones, Gillesphey, Small, Edwards all excellent as usual. We have a fine back 5. Even if it goes wrong at Wembley, which it won't, NJ has achieved a huge amount to turn our season around and deserves massive credit. And his passion tonight, blimey. COYR2
