Wow! Wins a trophy and gets the sack.
Levy is the one that needs the boot!

Frank seems to be front runner or Marco Silva. Guess Levy has been scared off of Iraola who seemed to be the favourite a couple of months back.

I think Glasner would be a good fit for them

NJ is 1/4 for the job nevertheless. Bookies say there's been loads of money for him.

I feel like the Spurs / Man Utd jobs are poisoned chalices for these guys.

Yes you want to prove that you're the best man for the job. But its a bit like us under Sandgaard... Because the club as a whole isn't right, whoever goes in, is doomed to failure, and risks their reputation needlessly as a result.

I'd avoid them with a fine tooth combe, unless I'd already failed, and needed to take the risk to salvage my reptuation.

Hopefully they will appoint whoever is the favourite for the Cardiff job.

Given his team beat Man United four times out of four this season, if I were Amorim I would take the phone off the hook.

    They both deserve the boot.

First PL club that panics next season I would expect Ange will be right in contention.

Dowie has ruled himself IN for the Spurs job.

I'm surprised he lasted this long.  I didn't think he'd see out his first season so making it to the end of the 2nd was a big surprise.

Incoming manager had Champions League football to look forward to.

Inzaghi had been linked to Spurs before he went sportswashing in Saudi.

Grealish is a very Spurs type of player. You imagine he'd get a lot more freedom there.

Which says a lot about modern day football. No manager but are interested in a player.

As discussed elsewhere on CL, it isn't a surprise.
Its more a surprise he wasnt sacked way back when.

78 points from the last 66 PL games, thats the barometer his tenure was measured on and as I said on the Europa thread, heart said keep him and give him the first 10 games of next season to prove himself.  Head said the football had been dire for 18 months since the Chelsea debacle at WHL last season.

Feel desperately sorry for him, he had no luck with injuries.

Levy was damned if he stuck or twist with him.

The majority of the Ange Out crowd was Levy Out I would say.  The majority of Ange In were Pro-Levy.

So sacking Ange has pretty much made everyone Levy Out now, surely a good thing.

Not excited by the thought of Frank or Silva tbh but whoever it is will get my full support.

Thomas Frank has apparently told Brentford that he wants to be unemployed within the next 12-months join Spurs.

If both of the above happen then players at Brentford will wonder about the ambition despite Brentford* scouting players and manager well in recent years and will probably already know who they want to take over when Frank moves on to Spurs are even a top 8 team.
    (Sorry John boy !)

May need to get on soon at decent odds especially if Leeds have a good season because Sunderland and Burnley may need a different team to go back down with them.

*Brentford finish 10th so a trophy may have found it's way to Spurs but they need to stop losing 20+ Premier games.

Thomas Frank and Mbuemo would be a statement by Levy and gets the fans off his back for a few days.

I can’t. They have a decent enough team already to stay up even without the two mentioned plus they recruit well player wise, in addition will have 50m from Mbuemo to invest plus they will have already identified their next manager in readiness for such an eventuality. They are a well run outfit.

Being in the Champions League makes Spurs a much more attractive proposition than they would be otherwise. I can't see the likes of Frank or Silva considering the job without it.
