Quite apart from them being stripey Nigel mugs, they've already abused the bankruptcy process twice, knocking all their creditors in the process and using it to secure a steady Premier league presence for the past decade. Of anyone deserves to get made an example of, it's them.

Would be incredibly difficult for them to then not kick Palace out on the same terms, without looking shady as fuck
Drogheda one is interesting because they actually qualified first of the two clubs with the same owner so it’s slightly different from Palace
Even more bang to rights then, Drogheda qualify of first but kicked out based on the co-efficient and where teams finish in the league, both of those things work against Palace and with 2 different teams and 2 different owners they have.

It's not quite the same though. The same group (Trivela) own 100% of Drogheda and 80% of Silkeborg, so are the majority shareholder of both clubs and clearly there is a conflict.
Textor isn't a majority shareholder at Palace and doesn't have the final say on any decisions.

In my view, this whole drama they’re having around being allowed in or not is a silver lining to the ghastly cloud of the pyjama wearing gimps winning the FA Cup. When they actually won it, I wouldn’t have dreamed they’d have to go through such hand-wringing, so I’m viewing it as a positive.

I can't see the prem relegation being so simple next year. Leeds and Burnley have a decent chance of survival while sunderland certainly won't roll over like the three that went down this season.
