  • Steve Cotterill sacked by Forest Green: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cly244d5xleo
Not long before he gets another gig.  Another one with a fantastic agent.
  • Strange timing. If they wanted to make a change, then why wait for several weeks after the playoffs.

I see Mark Bowen is their Director of Football. Will he do what he did at Reading, and appoint himself?

Robbie Savage being touted as the next FGR manager .. can't see him and another prima donna, Dale Vince being very compatible

He has a good relationship with them after his son, Charlie, played for them.

and our ex Mark Bowen is their head of football and he and Savage were probably in a few Welsh teams together ?

Indeed. As well as Bowen being assistant manager at both Birmingham and Blackburn previously, times when Savage played for both clubs.
  • The only thing I can think that goes against it being Savage is isn't he a shareholder at Macclesfield too?

Wonder if thats my fault... I mentioned on the Sheff Wed thread that I was surprised to see that Ruud was still in charge at Leicester. Have to wonder if the owners themselves had forgotten he was there, and only realised, when they were browsing CharltonLife for a random argument to get involved in.
  • Can't have clubs sacking managers before we beat them, what's the world coming to?
  • That is a good point. The shame of losing to Charlton has often been the end for other managers.
I expect it to happen at least once next season.

Think they're just out of one seasons accounts and into the next now which means they can take the PSR hit
  • Sean Dyche seems to be the favourite for Leicester, will be interesting to see if he could get anything out of that squad.

See the logic there, get the defence solid and they should have enough to go up (potential points deduction aside)

Listening to Scott Minto on TalkSPORT and it sounds like they are in a right mess all over and to top it off they look like they are going to get a points deduction
  • Wonder if Wilder could end up at Leicester.
  • SCP to go back as he has unfinished business there....
