Bazunu and Wood from Southampton?0

If we're signing two players from the same club, surely it'll be Luton, as is traditional.2

Luton would be excellent if it was Thomas Kaminski as the keeper , bags of championship experience with Blackburn and Luton and Prem experience with Luton too. Just can't figure out the CB bit from their squad. There's no one there that fits Pavs description, plenty of good solid CBs but no one that I'd count as being able to play RWB
Shame Mads Andersen has been injury plagued with them , wouldn't have minded him as a CB option - bags of championship experience and was outstanding for Barnsley when they were good under Stendel and Struber.3 -
This bit is explainable - I am friends with another EFL club chairman and he explained that there is quite a lot of transparency around wage bills in each division - they have to report to EFL and club’s see one another’s - it is the transfer kitty side that is more cloak and dagger but you can can gauge what is what by end of financial year.Henry Irving said:Considering the £11m uplift in central income a much bigger wage budget seems realistic.
Whether that is in the £15m range (the poster said under £17m) I don't know but I don't think it is out of the question.
I am dubious, without doubting @Pavoren007 was told this, how a shareholder in another club knows what our budget is.6 -
Offiah’s played in the Premier league hasn’t he? Has 6 apps for Brighton. And Beadle has lots of Championship apps.nagAddick said:
No as Offiah has never played in the Championship and Beadle has never played in the premier league.Valley11 said:The CH and GK from the same club who have premier and championship experience wouldn’t be Beadle and Offiah would it?0 -
Could be Reece Burke, has been injured though but featured in Prem.MarcusH26 said:Luton would be excellent if it was Thomas Kaminski as the keeper , bags of championship experience with Blackburn and Luton and Prem experience with Luton too. Just can't figure out the CB bit from their squad.0 -

Wasn't it mentioned that they'd got quite a few assists last season? Could that help narrow it down lolRedvaliant said:

Fabianski and Coufal

A reminder of what Pav said as there seems to be some confusion. Both have played lots in the Champ and a bit in the Prem which rules out a lot of the names said as they have one or the otherPavoren007 said:Shareholder of another league club here at Glasto when I told them I was a CAFC fan he told me we are currently negotiating for their GK and CH. Both have had lots of Championship and some Prem league experience. Very good standard. Can’t say more because I show my face on the button and don’t want to blow cover as the shareholder I refer to knows me through business…0 -

It might be a team promoted to the Premier League this season that are upgrading themselves and have to move people on, or a team just relegated to League 1.
Hovarth and Chambers at Cardiff?

declaring a wage bill and disclosing a wage budget are two very different things, no?Pavoren007 said:

Didn’t Pav say a good assist record? Shouldn’t be too many RWBs we can realistically sign with a good assist record PL and Champ experience and who can also play CB?0
-
If it's a LWB/CB - someone mentioned Amarii Bell as a suggestion a few days ago? Just left Luton.2
