    I had no idea the phrase 'have it off' was still in use. How quaint!
    Like snogging and fingering. The kids today don’t know what they’re missing.
    What about titting her up?

    Definitely add that to the list of things the kids are missing out on.

    Do they “cop hold of him/her”?
  • Not quite this year but I've just booked a week in Valencia for early February. Ties in with them being at home to Real Madrid so I'll pick up some tickets if I can

    We are at a Rockabilly weekender in Valencia 12th and 13th of December, as we don't fly home until the 15th hoping to go to Levante v Villareal on the 14th (if it's not moved for tele).

    Its almost that time for planning your holidays for 2025.

    Some of my trips have already been booked up the end of the Caribbean cruise but will finalise the extension on to South America next month. This will be my first time on a cruise and still apprehensive about doing this kind of travel but unless I try it I should not make a judgement. I’m also doing this cruise in order to do a recce on the islands just in case I want to return and do some island hopping and staying longer on the islands. Jamaica is still on my list of places to visit especially Montego Bay (probably because of the song and reggae) but I hear its too dangerous unless going to an all inclusive fenced in which is not my scene. Anyway, my rough itinerary for 2025 starts with:

    * Early sun trip to Gran Canaria from 2 jan.✅
    * Flight to Barbados for 3 nights before a 2 week Caribbean Cruise from 30 Jan. Whilst in this neck of the woods I’ll head to Colombia after the cruise (Bogota, Santa Marta, Barrenquilla) before heading to Santiago (Chile) and Easter Island, Peru, Bolivia and finish up with some real R&R in Rio de Janeiro before heading back to Blighty sometime at the end of March.✅
    * Budapest (April or May)
    * Play off Final 🤓✅
    * Madrid (April or May)
    * South of France (June)✅
    * London for the summer (July, August, September)
    * Spain (October)
    A good job I planned for the Play off final!

    Am enjoying London at the moment and have had to renew my passport 2 years early as I’ve used up all the pages.
    My itinerary has slightly changed and Budapest has been moved.
    Spain (near Valencia) all of October which will be interrupted for a few days returning to London for a wedding.
    From Valencia to Barcelona at the end of October and then on to Rome to start a 9 day tour of Italy in November back to London and then Budapest.

    That will be it for 2025 but already planning for 2026 😎

  • Enjoying a great 20 night cruise to about 15 ports up the whole length of NorwayNorway, been fabulous weather, a truly beautiful and scenic country, but I doubt if the weather we have encountered for the last two weeks will ever be repeated, temperatures most days in the range 20 to 28c, and not a single drop of rain, but been foggy some morning.
    Sounds amazing.
  • Just had 4 days in Porto, what a beautiful city, absolutely loved it.
  • I am currently in Georgia on my way to a small town called Jackson which is the real life Hawkins in Stranger Things.

    The heat is something else. This is US state 30 for us on the 50 states challenge and after experiencing the Mojave in August I can honestly say this is the hottest. The humidity is. Killer and it’s nearly 100F before you even take into account the real feel.

    The World Cup is going to be ridiculous out here next year. There are games in Atlanta and it’s going to be a struggle for our lot.

    Mate done a Fjord cruise....said it was miserable weather most of the time...mid June, very changeable weather up there.

    Apparently they never had 2 weeks of continuous sunshine (day and night this time of year) like we have had (ok apart from 1 day when it was cloudy, windy and cold feel like temperature +1c). They have now issued a severe forest fire risk and all BBQ are banned. We expected and packed for weather similar to yours 😀,

    I'm guessing if you've got 15 ports, you'll be going all the way up to the Northern Cape. I really fancy that as I've got seeing the midnight sun on my bucket list. I saw one of the companies had one that went around Iceland and across to Norway. Was thinking of that one but I believe the timings are just wrong for my stupid midnight sun requirement.
  • Yes we went all the way to the north cape, it was the only day that was cold, cloudy and windy. We certainly saw the midnight sun for 6 nights so no sunsets. 30c and another absolutely beautiful day.
