Maybe time to stop the speculation and await an announcement.Not wishing to stand on anyone toes but I was advised a young player sadly passed away yestrday and that may put a slight hold on things. Expecting the club to announce something and release some kind of statement today. Hence the sensitivity part.

As well intentioned as it was, if you post something cryptic in a rumours thread people will always try to work out what the poster is alluding to. In reality, there's no reason for the heads up as any discussion of announcing signings will stop if the club shares something serious12

It's always likely to happen but it doesn't have to, we can all control our response to something like this. Hopefully if something like this pops up next time people might remember this and just just not post. Not every thought has to be shared. Really desperate that some people just can’t accept what someone posts and wait …….jbaker has IMHO always been on the money with what he (hears) posts so there was no need for the mindless speculation as he made clear it was sensitive. He was obviously trying to temper expectations on the Knibbs situation (where there undoubtedly would have been further and unnecessary speculation this morning) and for that, I appreciate his input.22

Cheers. As stated its not really anyones place to provide every detail about such an event. I Was purely stating we might not hear about what we all want (Knibbs) today due to other things going on in the background linked to the club. Hence why i said not 1st team related. I was told a statement would be released today to cover the unfortunate and sad news. And to answer someone else's question no it wouldnt have any effect on tonight's game.
