As for Turkel, he puts Hederson in the squad.

Oh look, the annual Spurs link to Eze has come up, for the 3rd consecutive season (4th if you count his last season at QPR!)
Same release clause that Spurs have known about for the last 3 years and they STILL try and get him on the cheap.
I absolutely despair.5 -

Eze for £68m would be a steal in the current market. Levy will run this to deadline day and not get it done.1

Final year of Marc Guehi contract and now the 70 million player that didn't go to Newcastle could well go for 35 to 40 million to Liverpool.
Palace have the FA cup so it was a good decision for them and a terrible decision for most of Charlton's fan base.
If Grealish was worth 100 million by the UAE club at the same age then surely Eze is worth 68 million ?
To make Charlton fans happy it feels like when we lost Scott Parker after his tantrum if both England internationals leave the FA cup winners they will be heading South.

Well, despite the loss on penalties last night and a rather disappointing last 4 mins or so, an awful lot of positives for Spurs to take out of the Super Cup Final last night.
Sarr and Richarlison had by far their best games for us and Kudus looks like a very good signing.
Palhinha (will I ever remember to spell it correctly again this season?!) marshalled the middle with Bentancur extremely well and we look comfortable until we made the subs.
The gulf between the qualities of the two squads was plain to see when we brought on Tel and Archie Gray for Kudus and Palhinha and they could bring on the likes of Ruiz and Ramos.
Disappointed to lose on pens from being in the position we were in but in all honesty, I would have snatched anyone's hand off for a 2-2 after 90 mins beforehand in a game that everyone, including myself, expected us to lose comprehensively.1 -
Personally i felt that you should've done more in the second half. You played 6 pre-season games and PSG hadn't played any, only returning to training a few days before the game. And yet in the last half an hour when in theory they should've started to tire, it was all PSG.
For me the game swung on two substitutions. PSG bringing on Ruiz and Spurs subbing off Palhinha. After that you lost any kind of control in midfield.1 -

Is the Super Cup always so early? Seems weird to play it before the season has started if it's meant to be a "proper" trophy.3

I was watching the cup game between Birmingham v Sheffield utd as they are rivals to CAFC this season but did watch the start of the 2nd half when Spurs scored to go 2 up and then dominated and PSG looked well undercooked and turned it back for the Carabao cup.
You can never be shocked when Spurs snatch a defeat from the Jaws of Victory but I like Spurs as a club but Levy won't see 68 million for Eze as good value so I can't see it happening despite other clubs going in for him.

But yes it is always really early on, basically like our 'super cup', ie. Community Shield.1 -
I stopped reading when I saw “Spurs”. and “Super Cup” in the same sentence 😂0

Having a one off final in August just seems wrong.
Interesting that Thomas Frank went public with why he dropped Bissouma. Ex pros saying you should keep it in house but these guys are paid very well and persistent lateness when they normally only spend a few hours at the training ground and Thomas decided to share it with the footballing world.
No problem as long as you do that with every player at a club if they are persistently late.
Frank wants all Spurs players aware of who he is and he wants a more professional approach.
It won't take much too improve Spurs in the League after their 22 league defeat and 17th place in 24/25.
22 defeats were the most by a Premier team that didn't get relegated.0 - Sponsored links:

I think its well known, at least in Spurs circles, that Bissouma is on borrowed time at the club. He never hit the heights of his form at Brighton. He was in/out under Conte. He started well under Ange, then had a moment when he was sent off (against Luton was it? cant remember now, 2 silly yellow cards), then got injured and when he came back he was in and out of the team, and never really regained the trust of Ange until he had no choice but to play him because of injuries.
Frank made it very clear that he has, in his words, a 'no dickhead' policy at the clubs he is at. Persistent lateness is a dickhead attitude and he's rightly, in my eyes, made it public.
If an acceptable offer comes in for him, or Levy makes him a makeweight in a particular deal, its expected he'll go. He's got 12m left on his deal, based on the fact he signed a 4 year deal in 2022.0 -

Can't wait for the multiple penalties for set-piece holding in gameweek 1 and then never mentioned again.2 -

Not denying the talent of Hutchinson, but shows the power of one full season in Championship then and Premier League to push up the fee for your younger players.
Edit: having said that I hadn't realised Ipswich paid £20m for him two seasons ago! Presumed he'd gone for a low fee at 19. Wow Chelsea get phenomenal fees for there kids who have hardly played first team football.0 -

I get going for Bournemouth's backline, this is just weird. Leaves Bournemouth in a pickle attacking wise , now a lot of pressure on Kluivert and Semenyo and needing to keep Evanilson fit.0 -
