The big question though is, will he refuse to celebrate the goal OR will he cock an ear to the home supporters?
The rule should be you are only permitted to refuse celebrating a goal if you played regularly for a team for a decade and supported them as a boy. It’s gotten completely out of hand.
Today shows he plays up front in a two, not on his own as he has done up until today.
We've been so successful in playing one way since the great turnaround of last season we've not really played any other way other than the one central striker. I'm sure there'll be lots more games when we're behind and the shape changes and we play two up front when he'll feature more then.
It was always a concern. And quite frankly it will have to change when we go a goal down. I felt Leicester did to us what we did to the majority of teams last season. Snuck one in and shut up shop. The likelihood is, no matter how strong our back line is it will happen a lot and we need to have answers. Kelmans game will be more on the attacking foot. Not holding out for at least a draw. Not something I'm completely against. But when you go a goal down, something needs to happen.

Fair play if allowing 12 more shots after they took the lead was part of their gameplan!

Last time I was at Loftus Road Bradley Allen’s celebrations lasted a whole minute.

About how much time it took him to cover the length of the penalty box.

To be fair, he managed a conventional celebration in front of the away fans, then some sort of aeroplane impression all the way back to the half way line along the touch line by the QPR fans.
I watched him a bit last year with orient and he’s a very dangerous player. I think he’s a younger Godden, a finisher that ironically I think would have scored had he been on earlier as we whizzed quite a few balls across goal. He’ll be a great signing for us I feel
Didn’t strike me as being especially lazy today, although I acknowledge there is a different perspective available to those watching inside the stadium rather than on a live feed. There was one incident where he sprinted back hard to challenge their player who was running into our half with the ball, albeit that may may have been after he’d lost possession with an under hit pass.
The intensity of work rate required in this team is insane, really, and probably as high as any team in the 92. Easy to look lazy in this team if you’re slightly off it. If it’s not what he’s been used to, plus a lack of preseason it could easily be part of what he’s struggling with adjustment wise. Any lack of confidence can also sometimes be perceived that way - look at what was being thrown at TC before Jones got hold of him. I don’t think anyone would say he is lazy player now.
I will admit I’m a tad concerned based on the relative lack of impact so far, but NJ would simply not sign a lazy player and certainly won’t stand for it if Kelman isn’t putting in the expected levels of effort. We made a lot of signings and always a risk one or two won’t workout. Even more of a risk that some will take a while to settle and start to perform well. Time will tell which Kelman is but it won’t help if people start getting on his back. Let’s try and be patient.

How often last season (as you've said majority) did we go 1-0 up and allow opposition to have 20 shots over 90 minutes?
Leicester didn't shut up shop yesterday, they couldn't handle us.
Whilst I agree with most that Kelmans style of play doesn't normally fit us why then did we buy him? Only Nathan knows but I'd love to hear his thinking.

Because Jones believes that he can develop/coach the skills needed to become a player who WILL fit the way we play. He's got skill and finishing ability, those are things you can't teach - if he can adapt and learn to play a Jones system then a proper cutting edge up front would win us games like yesterday's.

This, plus the way we play will continue to evolve, so it's a bit of Kelman adapting and improving, and the team doing the same.

This is what matters really. Jones wanted him and clearly rates him, and he will know better than randoms on the internet.
Unless he gets frozen out completely like Ahadme, then people should chill out, be patient and trust that he has a part to play.

I just hope he gets a goal Tuesday to get the ball rolling
At this moment he’s giving me more Luke Varney vibes than Super Clive we shall see
