Not sure how he fits in with our system0

The big question though is, will he refuse to celebrate the goal OR will he cock an ear to the home supporters?1 -

We've been so successful in playing one way since the great turnaround of last season we've not really played any other way other than the one central striker. I'm sure there'll be lots more games when we're behind and the shape changes and we play two up front when he'll feature more then.

The likelihood is, no matter how strong our back line is it will happen a lot and we need to have answers. Kelmans game will be more on the attacking foot. Not holding out for at least a draw. Not something I'm completely against. But when you go a goal down, something needs to happen.1 -

Not going to judge Kelman yet, it's too early, but I have reached "it's a worry" stage. I want to see Tanto start, with Kelman or Leaburn.3

Of all of our signings I was most excited by Tanto and he hasn't been given a chance yet.5

He’s getting stick cos when he came on today he looked off the pace again, that’s to be expected if unfit but you’ve gotta show the work ethic
I just hope he gets a goal Tuesday to get the ball rolling
At this moment he’s giving me more Luke Varney vibes than Super Clive we shall see

I watched him a bit last year with orient and he’s a very dangerous player. I think he’s a younger Godden, a finisher that ironically I think would have scored had he been on earlier as we whizzed quite a few balls across goal. He’ll be a great signing for us I feel6

Didn’t strike me as being especially lazy today, although I acknowledge there is a different perspective available to those watching inside the stadium rather than on a live feed. There was one incident where he sprinted back hard to challenge their player who was running into our half with the ball, albeit that may may have been after he’d lost possession with an under hit pass. The intensity of work rate required in this team is insane, really, and probably as high as any team in the 92. Easy to look lazy in this team if you’re slightly off it. If it’s not what he’s been used to, plus a lack of preseason it could easily be part of what he’s struggling with adjustment wise. Any lack of confidence can also sometimes be perceived that way - look at what was being thrown at TC before Jones got hold of him. I don’t think anyone would say he is lazy player now.
I will admit I’m a tad concerned based on the relative lack of impact so far, but NJ would simply not sign a lazy player and certainly won’t stand for it if Kelman isn’t putting in the expected levels of effort. We made a lot of signings and always a risk one or two won’t workout. Even more of a risk that some will take a while to settle and start to perform well. Time will tell which Kelman is but it won’t help if people start getting on his back. Let’s try and be patient.7 -
Is this payback for Bonne ?0

We might need to change our system , with no goals in open play this season, albeit not a bad start. Kelman might benefit .0

Think it’s way too early to judge him. When’s Godden back btw ?0

Whilst I agree with most that Kelmans style of play doesn't normally fit us why then did we buy him? Only Nathan knows but I'd love to hear his thinking.4

Unless he gets frozen out completely like Ahadme, then people should chill out, be patient and trust that he has a part to play.

That's a lot of options, and unless we completely change the formation, only 2 can start a game.0 -
