Athletico Charlton said:Would be amazed if Selles isn't gone before they play us (sadly).Would be even more amazed if Wilder came back, had even seen that Danny Rohl could be approached a while ago.0

Don’t understand managers sometimes1

Said it yesterday more worried about Sheff Utd then yesterday game and now suddenly it’s become 100% more difficult …0

I was hoping they'd stick with him for one more game then fire him2

Wrexham have spent a shedload of money. Their expectations are naturally higher than ours.3

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Jose Mourinho sniff around the Wrexham job .0

Personally I don't think they've spent well, overpaying for several of their big signings.5 -

His sacking was harsh to say the least.
IF he is re-hired I am sure he will improve the Blades, but I doubt it will happen
Retaining Selles would give us a very good chance of getting something next Saturday0 -
Selles has been sacked... Left his position yesterday.
The club statement didnt mention anyone taking training in his absence, but hopefully they'll take as long as possible to announce the new man, so he's got less time to prepare for Saturday - The players no doubt will want to put the effort in for their new Manager though.3 -
Chris Wilder has returned to Bramall Lane.
He has signed a contract until the summer of 2027 to kick-off a third spell as Sheffield United manager. He will be in the technical area for Saturday's EFL Championship fixture against Charlton Athletic at S2.

I bet he's absolutely laughing, fired 3 months ago, gets a nice settlement from it, then they come grovelling back and he's probably on a better contract than last time and negotiated a nice signing on fee too!14

Even if we went full away shithouse mode I properly don't fancy us getting anything now on Saturday. They'll be bouncing and having players playing in their proper positions.2
-
Not surprised by that quick move from them...
When I checked the Sheff Utd website earlier, they hadn't announced any names to take training so always felt that they'd be making an appointment either today or tomorrow. Wilder was always the obvious name as well.0 -
They wouldn’t have sacked Selles without the replacement lined up as it was either going to be Wilder or the fans would be calling for Wilder and the replacement would be a let down1
