The Admiral brand still very much exists and they do there own retro range

The Admiral tops in the 70s and 80s were fantastic.  I still think the Coventry tops with Talbot as a sponsor were one of the best of all time.  I particularly liked the brown away top.
our Alderwood primary school kit, the brown one

Yeah these 2 look like temu knockoffs, 2 stripes instead of 3 is a bovvy market special.

I am glad you have mentioned that, I thought it was only me.  I didn't buy them when they came out last time because of this, I would have bought both home and away last time if they were the 'proper' retro.
For the life of me I do not know why the full amount of stripes are not used.
Adidas wouldn't be best pleased. Obviously doesn't stop knock offs like red robins retro doing it but not something the club would want to try.

Other clubs produce the Adidas retro with the correct amount of stripes, so why can't we?  A shame.
Presumably Adidas are involved in that. I haven't checked but might be clubs that are currently supplied by them.
This has the correct amount of stripes but may be a snide.

That isn't official Man Utd stuff and even if it was their current contract is Adidas anyway so the 3 stripes wouldn't be an issue

So have I read your post correctly, in that we should be able to produce the full amount of stripes?
No you’ve completely missed the point. Man Utd could do it if they wanted because Adidas make their kits. We can’t because Reebok make ours, not Adidas

    Aha, thank you.
So then it comes down to a copyright issue, thus the lack of all the stripes?
    Correct

    Again, thank you.
Am I right in thinking that if a kit manufacturer no longer exists then you can produce the exact one again?
Yes, which is what the club have done previously. I assume that's why we've also been reproducing kits with defunct sponsors (even if someone technically owns it as pointed out above. Barclays are highly unlikely to sue us for us of a logo they would never use anyway)

Thank you very much Mr Google, have a nice weekend.

2 parts of the year where a football club shop makes more money than normal

When the new kits come out in pre season and

The weeks leading up to Christmas

To close down a store in a busy shopping centre as in Bluewater 2 months before Santa Claus arrives and then not reopen one  elsewhere would have been a business owners own goal.

Common sense tells you when the shop opened in Bluewater back in June, that it has be to kept open in one shape or form until the new year.
