Did brilliantly for the goal, first out muscling the defender and then forcing the keeper into making the save.

And shooting across goal so the keeper could only parry into danger

Wasn't he Jones' number one priority signing? You can see why

The first-half it was evident that he was the only person making anything happen up top.

Luckily in the second half, players around him improved.

Should have had an assist for Berry, Should have had won a penalty practically an assist today nice to see him getting much more involved

Looked up twice and saw JRC running in so went far post. More chance of a parry into the box hence the goal.

Lots saying we need a partner for him but I actually think him and Leaburn are showing real signs of promise.

Kone has still got more goals, three of them, but would people still swap the two?
I only ask, not to cause argument (Given that early on in the season, there were a few wishing we'd gone for him instead of Kelman), but simply to create an interesting debate - For me, I never wanted Kone, didn't like his attitude on Ramsay in the Semi-Finals, and suspect we're seeing more of the work horse in Kelman that I'm not sure we'd get from the other

Imagine a striker up with him that's an upgrade on Leaburn

Nope I wouldn't swap. Kone's attitude would get him bombed out by now and agree that he's got nowhere near the work rate of Kelman.

To be fair to Leaburn, his form is growing game by game of late...

I agree. I just wish that sometimes instead of just heading it on he could try and hold the ball up more to allow us to get up the pitch. Certainly can't fault his work rate at the moment.

Leaburn’s still young enough and new enough to the Championship that we shouldn’t write him off.

There are some over the top views on both sides, one side very defensive of our youngsters, the other extreme who write off all youngsters that aren’t immediately Lookman/Shelvey/Gomez level.

I want to see more consistency from him in terms of his hold up play, do that and we’ll improve going forward and he’ll create more for others.

He's fine as a rotation option, but we need someone better than him to be a focal point of our attack

Think he’s a great option to throw on last 20 when you may want to play more direct because he does cause carnage and wins a lot of headers but need someone with a bit better all round play

Element of truth to that but he can only get better by playing more games and the last few games are evidence

And he seems to have found a ridiculous turn of pace since coming back. Top top player

As seen here, the defender quite literally bounces off him and then he produces a very smart finish - either he scores or the keeper pretty much HAS to put it back into danger - luckily someone actually was following up this time as that's something we haven't done well prior.

Yep he's young and growing with every game but for what we need now in the championship is someone who's got that bit extra and more polished,I don't really care about opposition players or learn there names but one of there strikers today was controlling balls fired into him and spinning soo well laying the ball off etc that's the kind of striker we need with kelman.

The problem is we are in a relegation fight.  We don’t have the luxury of patience.  He should definitely have a place in the team but if we have the ability to upgrade in the January window, we should

I agree, and more/better competition might even help Leaburn make the progress we need him to.

    proper out your seat moment
  • Is now the player I expected. Found himself some good space a couple of times today but couldn't be picked out with a pass from a teammate to be in on goal.

Incredible effort for the goal, with 69 minutes on the clock. Fitness/injury clearly no longer an issue.

    Happy days.

Do Not underestimate the job Leaburn is doing at the minute. Norwich aside, he’s been excellent the past few games and I suspect if you asked opposing defences in a lot of those games they would say he was a nightmare to play against.

it seems like it might also be lost on many of those heralding Kelman’s upturn in form since returning that he is now playing with a new partner as opposed to all season pre injury when he was struggling. That might not be a mere coincidence.

Even though he was poor against Norwich, the team were even worse after he was subbed. Playing a key role at the moment
