Thankfully Jones won't be listening to people on here saying rest players. He will play the strongest team possible and rightly so.
    Will he though?

I do hope so but he’s not always done so on the past. Sadly I do expect some ‘lesser’ players to feature.

Yes, for our strongest team, let’s get the pyro’s out again from semi play off (club have been using them on insta post) & see what happens. Saturday Night fever, our supporters will do their bit to create fortress Valley, the players will be up for it as will Nathan they know it’s a big showcase & will want to put in a strong performance, anything is possible that’s the joy of football, let’s hope the Valley is rocking at 10pm. To be honest , who would we actually miss this season if they got injured against Chelsea ?

I think it is a great opportunity to get our mojo back so absolutely we need to play the best team we can. Agree with others that we can't afford to play players carrying knocks but players can get injured in training and you can't expect Chelsea to try to beat us by kicking lumps out of us in the way a lot of lower league teams might.

Jones Bell Coventry for starters and could argue Kelman/Leaburn if we don’t bring in another forward

    Yes to the original question.

I think our full strength side have a chance, I don't think anyone believes we can but the FA Cup is famous for upsets. I think if we get an early goal Chelsea will throw out a challenge at half time to get the win. That will say good things about where we are. I just hope Chelsea make the mistake of playing a weakened/young side.

If we have a proper LWB then yes, otherwise we'll be steamrollered anyway, so protect the side

Some of our fans suggesting we rest half the defence are absolutely on one, the whole reason why we don't rotate the defence right now is because we don't have enough defenders!

Bree, Jones, Bell are nailed on to play because with Ramsay, Burke and Edwards all out the only other defenders we have are Gough, Gillesphey and Laqeratebua!

You wanna pay 30+ a ticket to watch that back 3?!
Well may be the club should have had the transfers in sorted by the time the window opened. So now we are faced with playing players who should be rested for this game because of bad planning.

How can you know a few weeks in advance which players are going to need resting? Or do you think NJ and the management/coaching team should have identified, negotiated and signed half a dozen players in a week? I don't think the club has the money to sign players as good as the ones we already have "just in case", do they?

    Have a think.
