We look lost trying to attack. Kaminski has way too many mistakes in him. Jones's tactics are awful. We don't even get shots on goal let alone score. What was it 3 shots today... if you’re defending him still I think you are mad.
Can’t believe you watched that team an it’s Kaminski you single out!
  • I'm sure the owners love the fact that their money has been spent on players that have either spent half the time out injured or on the bench.
The injury thing can’t be helped to an extent. Players like Apter on sitting on the bench after costing so much is ridiculous
  • You know I'm just speechless.. Just speechless at these "sack the Manager" claims having lost to Millwall
Would never have seen this coming in a million years
Bore off. Look at this performance.
Yeah the fact its Millwall isnt playing a factor in the reactions today
They're 4th, one defeat at home in 11-games, and we're already down on confidence
It’s more than Millwall. It’s been like this since November.
If we'd lost 4-0 today, away at another team flying high, I'm sorry but this reaction to sacking the Manager wouldnt be this loud
At least I dont think so... But then I'll "bore off"
I think it would, when we went on that horrible run of getting battered it came off the back of our incredible start of the season run, whilst also coinciding with injuries to the majority of our back line and Kelaman. This defeat comes off 14 games of shit, and our last win only being thanks to a 9 man Sheffield and a relegation side in Oxford.
Yet despite our bad form, we've equally only just lost the second game this calendar year.
There is a long way to go this season, still a lot of Football to be played
Chambers looked alright going forward, and is frustrating that he cant last 90mins yet, its frustrating that we've gone this month without another fit Left-Back (through no deliberate act of anyone), but it at least allowed Campbell to look more of a threat going forward. Away from home is always going to be the concern, its why for months, its why ever since the start of the season I've said: "Win the Home Games / Draw the Away Games"
Im sorry but its the 24th of Jan, thats why we've only lost twice this year. If you look at the fixtures we haven't won it paints the real picture. We would've been ripped to shreds by Sheffield had it of not been for the red cards, and then against Blackburn we bottled a 2-0 lead when we were totally in control.

Burke/Bell we knew their injury issues before we signed them no?

I don't think there's much value in this discussion today. We never beat Millwall but the performance was terrible. It's a bad combination. It's how we respond against Leicester that will be more instructive of the future

9 points from the last 14 games.

    Relegation form.
Yet we still haven't put a foot in the relegation zone... We've just lost to a team fighting for promotion, and on the road
Context needs to be put into place today, but of course it won't because emotions are running high, because its Millwall
We didn't just lose. We were out fought, out played, out muscled and dismantled without a whimper to a team most consider our main rivals.  It was a disgraceful performance and realistically should have been by more. Teams go down without getting utterly pummelled. There are not even many injuries to blame.

I turned it off after that flap to give them the first goal. We actually looked ok until then. I'm glad I couldn't make it today because of my injury. I feel for the people that did.

If we sack Nathan Jones the best candidate to appoint him is probably Nathan Jones unfortunately
    That’s just not true though…

again people who are saying who do we replace him with. Thats not our job to find the right person
Sorry, but that’s such a cop out. Presumably you say it because you can’t think of anyone.

Sorry @ForeverAddickted I don’t think you can use ‘only lost two games this calendar year’ when it’s the 24th January !

    24th Feb maybe

Every week it’s what’s our response gonna be? And every single time it is total wank.

This was categorically the worst response of the lot.

So do we just ask the same question every time?

    How are we gonna respond?

I will say it again - they gave up in the second half and when players are earning more in a month than most of the fanbase earn in a year. That is literally a total disgrace

I’d be throwing it at Stockport and looking to bring in Dave Challinor.

Mate I get the sentiment, but that was more than just being beaten by the scum, somethings off, now I’m happy if it can be sorted but if it was against anyone it was appalling.

I think several things can be true this squad has a lot of average players but NJ hasn’t helped himself with wasteful recruitment and odd tactics.

I’ll admit that if any other manager had us on this run of form, with this level of performance, culminating in today’s result, I’d be calling for them to be sacked. I am now starting to wonder if Jones is capable of turning it around this season, but I’m trying to remind myself of the record he has. Survived by the skin of his teeth with Luton and then took them to the playoffs soon after.

Also, sacking him would probably cost our entire transfer budget (or a lot more than that based on our transfer activity this month) so in the long run it could be counter productive to get rid. If he doesn’t accept his mistakes and change this right now though, we are goners.

Haven't we already tried? - He's basically their version of Curbishley / Powell, he's a club legend who could have Stockport a level higher than us next season.
    Why would he swap roles
Especially when we as a fanbase are so quick to want the Manager out when the slightest thing goes wrong.

I remember everyone calling for his head last season, yet we ended up promoted. Now though that might not happen this season, we might stay up with him and I don't believe there's anyone better right now. Players have to start taking responsibility and show up next game.

Will still, Michael skubula Richie Wellens Dave challinor. The managers are out there plenty of them…

The same Will Still who did fucking shocking with Southampton? - The same Skubula who could get Lincoln promoted to the Championship this season?

I can't see us staying up under NJ given our recent form. No sign of any progress in recent games...
  • NJ at fault for the dogshit second half imo. Clueless changes, blunted our attacking threat and looked like we wanted to go home as soon as the second half started. Unacceptable.

Nathan Jones was also shocking at Southampton presumably that’s a mark against him ?

Yes the very same Lincoln manager

Truly pathetic. 2 wins in about 14 games. Time for a change but it won’t happen. I get sick of us getting humiliated by Millwall.

Not saying you are wrong, but he needs to look at himself and his decisions both tactically and personnel.

Will still has all the charisma of a cardboard box. Every time he was asked a question today he looked completely surprised about the question and that he was even there.
