Singing about how they've never been in the Premier League really was scraping the barrel in the circumstances.5

Yeah was the equivalent of boasting you've once had a night out with Megan Fox whilst hanging out of Kathy Burke.cafctom said:Singing about how they've never been in the Premier League really was scraping the barrel in the circumstances.6 -

I didn’t hear it , did that help ?
Would boooing have made it worse , is that possiblePlenty afterwards of course (deserved), but not during the game.I've already said on this thread that giving abuse during the game likely has a negative effect - cheering the team on has a marginal effect if at all.2 -
I have done Bristol City away,(Draw) Cambridge away (Loss) QPR away (Loss) Sheffield Utd away (Win)
Derby away (Draw) PNE train cancelled, didn't get to game. (Loss) Ipswich away (Win)Hull away (Draw) Wrexham away (loss) Stoke away (loss) Coventry away (loss) Birmingham family commitments didn't go.
Norwich family commitments.Blackburn Rovers away (draw) Millwall away (loss). Only missed one home game. And quite a few from B block have similar commitment to the club with Home and away attendance.
HOW MUCH MORE SUPPORT ARE THEY ASKING FOR? Especially after some of the performances we have seen from them.4 -
Seen a video on twitter of the mostly empty away end at full time and there are still some freaks clapping them off.oohaahmortimer said:Did the Charlton players get boooo’d yesterday before the game ended ?

To be fair it was only a few from what I saw but even so.Likewise, we were there at the end and one or two clapping, no more.Jones rightly got pelters when he walked towards us clapping but soon realised, put his hand up to indicate fair enough, and quickly about turned.1 -
I ignored when they came over but clapped Dykes a bit I thought he put a shift in0

I noticed yesterday that when we do that ridiculous time out thing and all the players go over to the bench to receive words of wonder from Nathan Jones Dykes just didn’t bother. Just stayed in his position out on the pitch.oohaahmortimer said:I ignored when they came over but clapped Dykes a bit I thought he put a shift in5 -

tbf it was only from the 12 year old stone island convention in that stand to our left - one they obviously choreographed at school - the rest of the ground stick to the monk thing, noone likes us and the 3rd song they now have 'you're never beat the millwall' - fair enough - the prem thing might be cringe but i'm glad we reminded them that actually if there's one gang of inbred spastic pikeys, its them and they still haven't won anything. 141 years and nothing, fa cup? no - their achievements r on par with bromley in the south london pecking order. 2 years in the top division out of 141.se9addick said:

Haha there’s an element of truth in this. I could’ve come on here and ripped Douchy to shreds. Almost every prediction he has come out with this season and during the pre season regarding Millwall and Charlton he has got hopelessly wrong. I couldn’t bring myself to do it though. You can’t kick a man when he’s down and he’s clearly hurting from yesterday’s result. It would be akin to bullying and that’s not a bit of me lolElfsborgAddick said:DOUCHER said:

Was having concerns for your ticker.Haven’t read all the comments on here regarding yesterday obviously as theres just too much to catch up with, but from what I have read, the vast majority of you have been gracious enough to admit the better team won yesterday and the score line didn’t flatter us, it could’ve been a lot more. Not old Douchy though. He's just resorted to angry name calling and stereotyping and banging on about an FA Cup win from 80 years ago. It’s all he’s got, bless him.Anyway, haven’t been on here much lately and won’t be posting too much in the future. Just a new years resolution to spend a bit less time online as I have so many projects in the pipeline need to manage my time better (yeah yeah, I’ll get in first, clean the wing, apply for parole, have a walk around the exercise yard etc lol).Anyway, hope you boys stay up. I would much rather play you lot next season in a proper derby than Blackburn f**king Rovers any day of the week. (Not least because we never get anything from them where as you lot 😉).For the record, I thought your fans were decent and fairly loud yesterday in the first half. The second half, as your team crumbled, you made a lot less noise, but that’s understandable to be fair. There’s no dressing it up, it was a poor performance all round.9 -
I may be wrong but if the ball indeed hit his hand, it was after bouncing off his body. Ref probably saw it and thought not an offence.se9addick said:
To be fair they probably should have had a penalty for hand ball that wasn’t given in the first half.Arthur_Trudgill said:
I was not far from Dykes when the ref, encouraged by the crowd, blew for 'handball' when there was no handball at all.Covered End said:Well done to everyone at Millwall we did a decent job backing the team.
But does anyone still think Millwall’s support didn’t effect that result?
Yes they outplayed and out battled us, but their fans screamed for absolutely everything and I’m confident the ref gave them more decisions (although I’ve seen worse).
In fact it was weird how often their fans shouted handball.
At the very least it put doubts in the refs mind.
My point was that if the ref was unsure e.g. Dykes' 'hand ball', the home crowd would have edged him to a decision in their favour.1 -
