Millwalls support and atmosphere has been pony for them in recent times , according to my scum mate who has been a season ticket holder for years .
He said obviously it picked up today cos of the rivalry but in general the noise levels are down even though it’s one of their best ever seasons .
    They’re getting gentrified
With 15,000 of them singing “you’re South London’s spastics” it didn’t feel like that yesterday! Hadn’t heard that word for about 25 years.
tbf it was only from the 12 year old stone island convention in that stand to our left - one they obviously choreographed at school - the rest of the ground stick to the monk thing, noone likes us and the 3rd song they now have 'you're never beat the millwall' -
I was near the edge of penalty box on the other side from the more like coked up bouncing crew you refer to as 12 year olds and they were all singing it loud and proud ….
as my scum mate said , we’re 20 years behind over here

I hate political correctness and sticks n stones n all that but did see a young disabled lad near me cringing/ feeling that hit when it rang out.

To be fair it was a very small percentage of them singing it and only a couple of times and obviously not meant in that way/ aimed at him but I did feel for the kid as it obviously hit a nerve.

    Coburn 😂😂
Douchy baby, even if Coburn does prove to be a duff (and the jury is still out tbh), let’s look at the rest of our recent recruitment. Just from Saturday alone, Crama, Caleb Taylor, Alfie Doughty, De Norre, Sturge, Neghli, Azeez, Ivanovic. All class players who we paid well below their market value for. There’s quite a few also who were not involved on Saturday but are waiting patiently in the background. Then there is Zian Flemming who we bought for 2 mill and got 7 million for. Tanganga, who we got on a free and sold for 8 million.

So if, and it’s a big if, Coburn turns out to be a flop, I think our recruitment team are allowed a pass on that don’t you think? Ten or more excellent signings against one bad? I mean, it’s not like Charltons recruitment has been red hot. But if it gives you a small crumb of comfort having a good laugh at us signing Coburn, you crack on mate.

Blaming fans for performance is as bad as blaming spending on ST sales.
    Agreed, but no one has.
Apart from a thread titled 'our support may make the difference to whether we stay up or not' alludes to that no ?
    No it does not.

Plus read my comments through out the thread.

I take comfort from you being the only person that thought that and everyone else kind of understood.

Mind you there still seem to be some thinking I was suggesting we could have won 4-5 if we had sung louder, even though I have explained  what I meant on very many occasions.

    11 of us there yesterday.
I'm not reading 7 pages of posts to understand the nuance of a title, if I need to do that then maybe its not as clear as you make out.

I guess the players will count themselves  lucky from now on, as our home attendances will fall off a cliff given the post Christmas performances on the pitch.
