As much as I hate the idea of The Valley becoming an enclave for the Scousers loanees, I’d be excited about Nyoni.

The exact profile we require in the middle.
To be fair, pretty much every loan signing we've got from Liverpool has turned out to be at least decent...Chambers, (although early days) Millar, Eccleston, Carson...

If we sign the Liverpool lad he will learn parts of the game working for NJ, than he would elsewhere.  Nathan will drill the defensive side into him and the responsibility he has to others, whilst other coaches would work on technique.

Brughton did us over James Beadle and now they have come back for more. Once you have had your pants pulled down....
Did they actually have to pay anything other than minimal compensation?

Dont get the point in selling Mbick now we havent even got the time to properly spend any money

You do not know that. If we were confident of selling him, we could have one or more purchases already agreed, subject to finalising the Mbick deal. We shall soon find out.
  • Hull are looking at offloading James Furlong 23 year old lwb maybe one we’d consider late in the day?

I assume thats us done now???

I cant see what else there is to add, no one to be leaving (other than Mbick) I dont think and surely the doc rumours can be put to bed after he played at weekend. It'd be nice to get a midfielder but I cant see it happening.

I think the language barrier is a problem, at least the Kenyan can speak English.
Less than half of Kenyans speak English, and only a quarter to a decent level. Though maybe he can speak Welsh? I understand it is similar to Swahili.

I can't see that lasting the distance
Are you willing to hedge your bets on that one?

I am free to shoot my mouth off. I live abroad, so no-one is going to beat me up behind the bicycles sheds.

Edit: Ok, I have only just got your joke. Very good. I am a bit slow up top ever since I got beaten up behind the bicycle sheds for wearing a Charlton/Millwall half and half scarf in the early sixties.

The emboldening was due to an IT malfunction caused by my cat running across the keyboard.

Well 'Scouse' definitely is, undecipherable to the human ear.

It's not over until Cawley says it's over.

And Collins spent a year or so playing in Scandinavia, so I guess he's now got better English than some of us

I have been to Kenya a few times, and have many Kenyan friends, this is not true, they are consistently ranked top English speaking Country in Africa,

I remotely run a Kenyan sales team, they all have excellent English and sound American. They learn it from a young age apparently.

Re Mbick, hopefully we negotiate a years loan next season

we should take to money and run, we can use it to buy another 2.5 Kenyans
Why do we need a loan he not ready for championship now of next year

The loan apparently is back to Colchester.

If M’bick goes I will be fucking furious.

and what is this nonsense about loaning him back? To help Colchester??
  • If M’bick goes I will be fucking furious.
How do you suggest we fund more money to buy players? People think money just grows on trees, we are a selling club and if the price is right then the right choice is being made

No need to sell him. We cant strengthen now.
  • If we’re not going to use the money generated from Mbick to get a real top quality midfielder then it’s an odd one
