Minted owners. Apparently.5 -
We might as well not count Berry as an option. Been a liability in every game he's appeared in since Hull.7

I meant Coventry of courseCafcSteve said:
Anderson has gone out on loan.killerandflash said:Coady is clearly going to be a midfielder for us, especially after we signed Collins Sichenje, brought back Zach Mitchell, and didn't sell/loan out any centre backs.
Our midfield isn't great, but then it wasn't spectacular when we had that excellent start to the season, and was nothing special last season. Coady, Anderson, Doc, JRC is enough bodies to fill the engine room places.
In the summer that's where I would like to see some investment.

I hope his pizza was the worst hes ever had, hes left us with a gaping hole in the middle of the park, which we look our most vulnerable from, we just needed that 1 player that could play a decent pass and we would of been ok11
-
Nine players from the first team squad out on loan, is that most ever ? twenty five players fit and available for selection. Is it enough ? is there enough quality in there ?1

I think Fevrier is considered as cover on the left if needed.NabySarr said:Would say overall that’s an ok window. 2 main concerns we are left with is a lack of quality in midfield and a lack of numbers at LWB. Latter is more worrying for me as that’s been a much bigger reason for our struggles than the midfield2 -
Lingaard would actually be a pretty decent fit. Lots of running so Jones would love him.
Sterling, Oxlade Chamberlain and Ryan Kent all still free agents as well whilst we're dreaming.4 -
Maybe Sunderland have released Poveda and we sign him tomorrow as a free agent?5
-
Maybe Sunderland will release that Poveda, as he clearly has no future there.1
-
It's a so so window to be fair....but I think what Nathan did on Saturday with the line up reminded me of when he first came in to a mess... He set us up not to lose and get the breaks if we can....
This is about survival... period and I think we'll be fine.

Not back to Poveda….thought we dodged that bulitt.1

Who is rubbing their hands with anticipation and excitement as we unearth the next overweight gem that nobody else wants?

He's not great but letting Anderson go without a certain replacement is just mad. Can't understand why we'd weaken ourselves in an already weak area.6
-
Zach Mitchell can play midfield ftr9
-
so its poveda (a bloke who's played a handfull of games in 8 years) or Sterling (England's most dangerous player until about 2 years ago) - fingers crossed7
-
Hope I am wrong but really not sure he is going to be much better than TC is there. He’s a good league 1 right sided player, maybe he can step up but I doubt he’s a championship quality LWB when that’s not even his best sideSword65pf said:

Chambers staying fit is what will decide our fate. Big risk putting that much faith in a young player that hasn’t played much football. Big opportunity now with 3 home games to give us some breathing room for if injuries do happen later on5 -

Yeah I was gonna say is there another academy player we want to give a chance to. Might also be that gough might be ready to make the step into midfield occasionally.0 -
While we’re being ridiculous - James Rodriguez needs a club before the World CupJac_52 said:Lingaard would actually be a pretty decent fit. Lots of running so Jones would love him.

I agree, we don’t know if he steps up in his 1st position, I was just suggesting the possible thinking.NabySarr said:

We brought in Coady, He will play more in midfield than defenceMarcusH26 said:Just find the Anderson out no CM in to replace him move quite weird. Feels like we've left ourselves one player light in there2
