    Fair play to the guy, last time out he definitely wasn't quite at the races so he's shown good mentality to bounce back and score a very important winner.

    TCs perfect role for us is an impact sub.  I still don’t want him starting given his skills are pretty one dimensional but his pace late in the game is a real asset.

    Tonight was a reminder that he's dangerous when he plays up top. Most of the criticism has come when he was at LWB and not able to play with freedom

    I hope he takes note of the run that got him his goal tonight. With Dykes or Leaburn as a partner, those kinds of flick-on are going to happen. I hope he stars to gamble on them more often because you won't catch him once he's away and he can finish. It'd be a potentially potent aspect to add to his game.

    I wouldn’t start him every game but there’s the value he can bring, he gave us the type of threat no one else in the squad does.

    I’m confident we’ll stay up, but if we don’t I’d expect TC to be playing at this level next season.

    I think he’s better than a sub. I don’t think it’s about whether he starts or comes off the bench, I think it’s about playing him in his proper position.

    Glad we played him up top tonight, he looked up for it and ran with purpose. I hope the left wing back experiment can be buried once and for all

    horrific first touch for the goal and much like Lloyd Jones' in the play off semi,  the keeper should have got to it but thankfully both keepers clueless and we benefit .
    Pace and attacking intent in short supply for us so him up there is where he should be, fuck all this wing back bollox

    Or we could argue he took control of a ball on a slick pitch, recovered with great balance from that difficult control and then had the maturity to slot it home calmly.

    Was 4 pikey looking geezers back of the west one with the brilliant white turkey teeth and no hair giving him proper verbals all the time he was on despite the great run, shot and the goal aswell,one little give the ball away losing their shit,proper mugs shut them right up but no doubt they will have some excuse to why he was bad or something, won us the game love him.

    Hopefully after tonight’s winner everyone can appreciate what the majority could see all along.

    3 months and 17 pages later can we finally let this thread sink?

    I know you're taking the Michael but at least 2 posters have mentioned he was getting pelters both before and after scoring tonight, there's no excuse for that

    Was also a very good bit of movement by TC before the finish that put the defender on his arse. Double move by faking to go to the right and then running to the left of the defender 

    Thank god he buried it though because it would have been so TC to do all the hard work and then miss a left foot open goal
