I didn't say it had.fenaddick said:List also misses off Bell and Carey who have been 2 of our best players this season. You'd expect a better hit rate for sure but not every signing has been awful1 -
Can’t remember the last keeper who made as many howlers as he does. Has terrified me from the first game and it’s very clear that this is just who he is as a keeper. Good luck finding anyone to take him off our hands though.1

Single handedly given Pompey 4 extra points this season. A clown, doing his best to get relegated three seasons running.4

We’ve had lots of awful goalkeepers over the last few seasons. He is no better than Mannion , imo.Smithy said:Can’t remember the last keeper who made as many howlers as he does. Hmmmmm just so inconsistent, other than commanding his area, catching crosses or his dustrubution, those hes very consistent at, just its consistently being very poor2
-
I’m not going to join the pile on, I still think he’s a significantly better goalkeeper than Mannion. But I do worry that after a shocker like last night that his confidence will be shot, and that’s a massive issue for a ‘keeper.7
-
Well he must be used to having the odd stinker0

I don’t think he’s better than Mannion in any area, bar experience .se9addick said:I’m not going to join the pile on, I still think he’s a significantly better goalkeeper than Mannion. I've noticed, when we lose he always gets slated/ not good enough. When we win, he's been brilliant, call us fickle fans? also the fact he has quite a few clean sheets isn't just down to Jones.
He will have a good games and bad, i think for now he is the best we have, we need to cut him a little slack.3 -
I detest him and the fact he is our highest earner.
He cannot even get the ball over the half way line from a Goal Kick.
Imagine the instruction to your team being punt it long to the 2 big lumps up top and our keeper cant ever get it there off the deck.
Wanker
Dont even get me started on his shot stopping or command of his area.5 -

Not saying he’s the worst keeper we’ve had, it’s just how bad he’s capable of being. I guess that could be said about NJ football on the whole.wmcf123 said:

The fact NJ commented on him I think means he will be dropped next time out.2

That's not true. People haven't been waxing lyrical about him all season, even when winning.johnnybev1987 said:I've noticed, when we lose he always gets slated/ not good enough. He's a bang average keeper for this league same as Mannion.
Not great, but not shit either despite last night's mistake.
Going forward when the budget allows we will hopefully bring in someone better.5 -

You don't have to like the player, that's up to you, but statements like that are just stupid. You only have to look at his involvement in our goals against Sheff Utd and most recently Stoke to see that he's been a part of some winning goals for us with excellent balls up the pitch. Might not be every time but then no keeper is pinpointing goal kicks every gamecafc4life said:I detest him and the fact he is our highest earner.

Embarrassing to hear the level of abuse he gets from some of our fans - not clear how they think it helps? Some very inadequate people about....3

Yes, he makes saves, all goalkeepers do. The saves he makes tend to be when the attacker is close to him and the ball is near to his body.
He is dreadful with shots from distance and has been all season.
His command of the box is awful, even if he has shown minimal glimpses recently that he has finally realised that it is something that he needs to try to do.
I don't believe that the defence has any confidence in him and I can only assume that he is not a talker/shouter, as there appears to be no communication with his centre backs.
I've lost count of the number of times that him and Lloyd Jones appear to be arguing after something has gone wrong.
If he really is our highest paid player then that is ridiculous and shows a serious lack of judgement from Jones or Rodwell.
Mannion needs to come in now, as he cannot possibly do worse and deserves the chance after the way he finished last season.4 -
I don't particularly rate Mannion, but feel like if we'd kept him as our #1 and spent Kaminski's reported £20k per week on a midfielder, we would probably be better off at this point.11
-
He can pull off some excellent saves now and then but also looks like he has a blunder in him as well. Last night was a genuinely poor performance but some of the comments are just hyperbolic. He's average at best but we've had many worse keepers (but also many better ones.)1

He said that a few weeks ago after him having a bad game. He was still in goal the next game.valleynick66 said:The fact NJ commented on him I think means he will be dropped next time out.1 -
I don't think Mannion is any better - another average keeper.superclive98 said:

Some of the criticism of Kaminski is OTT - I think if he was more vocal and a bigger character he'd probably get less abuse.
NJ may give Mannion a chance on Saturday....1 -
If I was on 19k a week, I would have loads of credit in my bank too ££££ns9 said:
Interested to know where the credit in the bank comes from? I genuinely can’t remember many instances of him gaining us points.Diebythesword said:Absolute clanger tonight. For me he has credit in the bank (just) but honestly don’t see a problem if we played mannion.2 -
I think some people are getting carried away here. He's just kept 3 clean sheets and we probably would've lost to QPR if it wasn't for his late save. I don't think Kaminski is as bad as some are making out, and equally i don't think Mannion is as good as some people are making out.
There's a reason that one has never played outside the top 2 divisions in whatever country he's played in, and the other has made almost half of his career appearances in non-league.
I wouldn't be against us giving a Mannion a few games, but i'm not expecting him to suddenly be amazing.8 -
We had to get an experienced no1 in over the summer, but unfortunately, like a lot of our signings, hasn't been the upgrade we were hoping for. I would love to know what Mannion is thinking watching that last night. My fear is for next season, no way Mannion will be happy for another season on the bench, so will probably be off, and we are back to square one trying to bring in another no1, another high wage, or we our stuck with Kaminski between the sticks. He's not good enough elsewhere to make up for the fact he doesnt come for crosses in my opinion, and he doesn't command well enough. Summed up when loyd jones tried leaving a ball for him to last night only to have to hack it clear due to lack of communication.1
-
I've kept quiet on him up until now, but I think he is dreadful. Probably the worst keeper in the championship. As an ex defender I would hate to have played in front of him. Always very hesitant, doesn't control his box, and his distribution is awful.2
-
Thats obviously your opinion but watch him next game for his kicking and its total shite. Along with everything else he is meant to do as a keeper.Garrymanilow said:

It’s a real worry that he’s been relegated the last two seasons. Doesn’t give confidence that he’s up for the scrap.4

If you think Kaminski is bad at long shots you really won't like what happens when Mannion comes back in..superclive98 said:

Well no it's not my opinion, watch our goals against Sheffield United away and Stoke at home. It's just reality that he was central to those goals with his passing. Sometimes his kicks are bad, more so to be honest when he's got shorter passes to make where he sometimes puts us under pressure with loose passes, but you said he can't get them over the halfway line or get the ball to our strikers and I've given you two examples of goals he started off in 1-0 wins where he played a goal kick out to the striker's head and a goal followed. No opinion there, just what happened. What you said is purely false.cafc4life said:
