Let’s upgrade the whole team in the summer and have pace, power, height and ball playing ability everywhere!

Or is that too much to ask?
We all dream of a team of Sichenjes
If we manage to find some affordable options: 2 at CM, 2 wingers and 1 lwb 1 rwb with collins type athleticism and desire to win/keep the ball and 50+ professional games under their belt. It will be a very interesting season next year!!
I doubt what we need at number 8 is affordable. 5 Mill minimum.

I really hope Collins keeps up with the really good start with us!
If we look after him he has all the attributes to succeed. Playing along side Jones and Bell will bring out the best.

The best yet to come and the difference to have a defender who has got some real pace.

Wrexham will be a big test for the lad, but I truly believe he will come through.

    Good luck to our BFK

You mean make sure he's fed and hydrated?

Think we'd have to easily break our transfer record to get the quality needed in the middle of midfield.

We probably will need to break it sooner than later if we're going to do anything more than battle relegation.

Not really getting people seeming pleasantly surprised by this fella, The club firstly have seen fit to pay a bit of money for the guy, he’s been playing in a foreign country to him which led to international football(some will say but it’s Kenya,ok🤷🏻‍♂️) were people expecting him to have to be taught to play football? Hence the standard for young foreign guy quotes of being raw? I’d say he’s a more than competent footballer settling in nicely.
For a split second, when you mentioned having to teach Collins, I thought of the movie 'Airplane', & Ted Stryker teaching the African guys how to play basketball.

CS' initial impact has certainly been a positive one.
He definitely looks like someone who has the potential to be a the real deal!

    He’s a colossus

Could definitely see us moving to a back four with him and Jones at some point later in the season.

Looks a very good player. Though if he's playing alongside Jones it may be a risk as they both like to bomb forwards on occasion.

He’s a very good defender and he’s also got that bit of quality in possession, a bit like Bell. He’s going to be immense for us if he keeps on this trajectory.

3 games, 3 good performances. For 1.7M seems like a bargain when you consider what we wasted the other budget on

    Vintage today. Lovely overlap too.

Without disparaging Kayne, I wouldn’t be too unhappy if Collins started a lot more now.

Except he's probably out for the rest of the season, cos we're Charlton

Liked how forward thinking he was. Constantly looking to pass forward and looks very comfortable on the ball (which I wasn't expecting). Got skinned for their goal, but that was a very promising performance, looks a steal and should start next game if he is fit

Would people play him next week instead of bringing back Coady? Assuming Burke is ou

They play two different positions? Do you want Sichenje in midfield?

Everyone on here wants Coventry put in a bin and the bin put in the sea and the sea covered with oil and set on fire cos he misplaced a couple of passes, so probably they'd simply play both of them

I still gave Coventry only 6.5 in Player Marks okay what do you want a full condemnation of his actions

Seriously impressive in terms of how quickly he’s settled in - he’s 22, was playing in a middling European league and we’ve signed experienced or promising players who’ve played here their entire careers and not made enough of an impact.

Very early days though, he’ll have to handle clubs knowing more about him, at the moment he’s still largely unknown to the opposition.

Apter won player of the month for example, he’ll need to show he can consistently perform. What’s really promising is he looks like he has the physicality to do it, and seems more comfortable and intelligent with the ball than we as fans expected. The players who’ve struggled the most tend to be the ones who lack in one or both of these areas.

Defensively Coventry is good, in attack though... Meh, very wasteful. I think you'll find he misplaced 5-6 forward passes his pass completion rate is massively buffered by the one twos with defence.

Plus a few scorpions and snakes inside the bin as well.

It doesn't really matter though, because we could lose 5-0 and Coventry scores 5 own goals and you would say he had a good game.

Can’t wait to see the Kenyan fans reaction when he does score, especially if it’s a winning goal or important equaliser.
