I don't see Wolves staying up, but they play a lot of the strugglers so may help decide who does go down.Chris_from_Sidcup said:Too little too late for Wolves though. Would probably need to win 6 of their last 8 to have even a slight chance of staying up and even that might not be enough. If they had 6-7 more points i'd give them a good chance as their run in isn't bad.
In April their 3 games are against West Ham, Leeds and Spurs.

Yeah any side that was looking at Wolves in their run in as a guaranteed 3 points is now a bit fucked. Yes Tottenham i'm looking at you and your trip to Molineux.killerandflash said:

West Ham and Leeds might be ok as they're at home, and Wolves' decent run of form seems to primarily be in home games.1 -
Wolves seem to be playing better/more freely ever since they finally cleared 12 points and ensured they would definitely not take the undisputed worst ever season record. They're still down for sure but at this point they have nothing to lose particularly so they can just play without any real fear or pressure.

Let's hope Sheffield Wednesday arent like that when we play them!3 -
If the West Ham and Forest finish as they currently are then Spurs, if they weren't in trouble already, really are now.0
-
Looking forward to spurs away next year... 1 point off relegation and 4 points from their last 10 games2
-
That last 10 seconds at City was insane off the line with last kick!4
-
Squeaky bum time for Spurs now.

I think West Ham and Forrest have the fight in their teams to stay up, the results today must lift spirits in their camps. Spurs players look like they don't give a shit, would love it if they went down.2

Great night for George Graham's Arsenal, grinding out another 1-0 with City dropping points.
Massive game for Spurs tomorrow, while Leeds will be getting nervous too, despite having a pretty decent season for a newly promoted side.
Last season Leicester finished 3rd bottom with 25 points. West Ham in 3rd bottom already have 28.0 -

Arsenals title and Forest taking the last relegation spot
All too painful to watch2 -
And let's be honest, the Fulham scoreline massive flattered Spurs the other day2
-
Arsenal time wasting from half way through the first half. Mind numbing.0

Brilliant win for 10 man Newcastle over Man U. A cracking winner.
Some real turnups this midweek. A good day for Chelsea, with Villa, Man U and Liverpool losing.

I have no beef with Spurs, but would like to see them, as one of the bigger clubs, go down. Used to happen every now & then back in the day. Beyond due.killerandflash said:Great night for George Graham's Arsenal, grinding out another 1-0 with City dropping points.

That was Newcastle's 46th game of the season, that's 15 more than United have played. In the context of injuries, time for recovery, consistency of selection etc that is a massive difference.killerandflash said:Brilliant win for 10 man Newcastle over Man U. A cracking winner.

Looked at their fixtures and they have Brentford, Wolves, Burnley and Brighton all to play at Elland Road, so i think they'll be confident of getting enough points there to stay up.killerandflash said:Great night for George Graham's Arsenal, grinding out another 1-0 with City dropping points.

If they don't get out of it then the last day could be fun. They go away to West Ham.0 -
Would be similar to when Newcastle went down the first time with Shearer in charge in 2009Powell2ThePeople said:

Spurs biggest league game in decades tonight.
Have absolutely zero faith in them to get 3 pts too.
Do you know what, I'm going away for 2.5 weeks at the end of March and I thought to myself thank fuck for that, I'm going to be on the other side of the world and I'll be able to escape and just let the games pass me by and just let what will be will be.
Totally forgot the bloody international break. I don't miss a single poxy Spurs game while I'm away FFS.21 -

Wolves won't stay up but no team has an easier run in on paper:
Brentford - 7th
Fulham - 10th
Sunderland - 11th
Brighton - 13th
Leeds -15th
Spurs - 16th
West Ham -18th
Burnley - 19th3 -

Going down, Arsenal winning the lot, Millwall possibly swapping places with us...erm its making my head hurt... a lot!
I said when we got torn apart by Arsenal at the end of the November we was looking at relegation and everyone looked at me like I'd been on a crack pipe! That was the point Frank should have been sacked at, not 3 months later.
Put your house on Brennan Johnson scoring at the back stick tonight.2 -
If Wolves had beaten Palace 2 weeks ago, a game which they should have won, they'd have 19 points, level with Burnley, and Palace 32, just 4 point above 3rd bottom.0

If you lose tonight you're in massive trouble (if you aren't already) but i think you'll get a result.JohnBoyUK said:Spurs biggest league game in decades tonight.

Can always rely on Palace to roll over when people think they'll win (i've seen a lot of people online thinking Spurs will lose tonight). Then when people actually want the pricks to lose (like in the cup final) they fucking turn up. Seen it time and again in recent years, you think they'll get sucked into a relegation battle and then they go and win away at somewhere like Man City or Liverpool. Wankers.3 -
Tottenham v Palace tonight.
A game I want both teams to lose.
Do I break the habit of a lifetime and cheer Palace on?
What a blooming quandary to be in!2 -
I'm absolutely convinced that Palace will just lose this game 2-00

A game you ask yourself are you hate watching as a Charlton fan or an Arsenal fan.Fortune 82nd Minute said:Tottenham v Palace tonight.

Either team loose and they are in serious trouble (touching distance of West Ham)however the winner doesn't clear themselves of relegation but it helps. A draw is not good enough for either.0 -

Unfortunately they have Newcastle, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Everton, Brentford as well so one-three wins out of all of that and they should be safe. Don't think that Arsenal game will be a game either team needing something.0 -
Palace are not in any danger of relegation. They're 7 points clear of safety with a much better goal difference, so effectively it's 8 points clear.
They'd probably have to lose all of their last 10 games to go down and that isn't going to happen.2 -
It's funny because Charlton are in the same position, yet apparently our season is on a knifeedgeChris_from_Sidcup said:Palace are not in any danger of relegation. They're 7 points clear of safety with a much better goal difference, so effectively it's 8 points clear.
