Palace are not in any danger of relegation. They're 7 points clear of safety with a much better goal difference, so effectively it's 8 points clear.

They'd probably have to lose all of their last 10 games to go down and that isn't going to happen.
It's funny because Charlton are in the same position, yet apparently our season is on a knifeedge
Knife edge? I thought we'd already been relegated!

Because the generally accepted 'safety' total is further away for us. We need 9 more points, Palace need 5.

However in both cases, the required total is probably actually going to be less.

Spurs biggest league game in decades tonight.
Have absolutely zero faith in them to get 3 pts too.

Do you know what, I'm going away for 2.5 weeks at the end of March and I thought to myself thank fuck for that, I'm going to be on the other side of the world and I'll be able to escape and just let the games pass me by and just let what will be will be.

Totally forgot the bloody international break.  I don't miss a single poxy Spurs game while I'm away FFS.
How scared are you re the relegation threat?
    Scared?  Absolutely f'ing petrified.
Going down, Arsenal winning the lot, Millwall possibly swapping places with us...erm its making my head hurt... a lot!

I said when we got torn apart by Arsenal at the end of the November we was looking at relegation and everyone looked at me like I'd been on a crack pipe!  That was the point Frank should have been sacked at, not 3 months later.

Put your house on Brennan Johnson scoring at the back stick tonight.
There is nothing to be scared about. You'll love the championship. Its a great league, no var and you will win a few games.

Great night for George Graham's Arsenal, grinding out another 1-0 with City dropping points.

Massive game for Spurs tomorrow, while Leeds will be getting nervous too, despite having a pretty decent season for a newly promoted side.

Last season Leicester finished 3rd bottom with 25 points. West Ham in 3rd bottom already have 28.
Because the bottom three were so bad last year, Spurs kinda got away with it last season.  They finished 4th from bottom.  They did get 41pts, which statistically may have been enough regardless, but I think with their run in Europe and the fact the bottom three were so poor, it got slightly overlooked

I think Palace isn’t the worst team for them to have tonight.  They’re good as good a chance to get something out of it as opposed to other teams.  Their fans will want a win, but if they can’t win, a point isn’t a disaster

Spurs only got 38 points last season.

Although they basically gave up in the league once they were safe and concentrated on Europe.

They could probanly got a couple more wins if needed.  Whereas this season, not so much!

Following the same pattern as every home game this season.

Far far too passive, no desire to press, giving the
    opposition far too much time.

    Lucky Spurs will stay up

Palace have a goal ruled out because a player's nose is offside.??? WTF ??  The games gone.

Then Spurs go up the other end & score . Of course they do.

All I'd like is for Arsenal to win the title & for West Ham or Spurs to go down.

Would like to play a big club next season.

It seems weird getting excited at a palace goal but it will be bloody fantastic having spurs in the championship.

1 if it's your first red card of the season

Meanwhile on Spurs life - the pessimists and optimists are kicking off. The doomsdayers are saying it was must win and they are already down.

The happy clappers are saying they will win the champions league and that’s all that matters
