Are the Mercs on borrowed time until
the new compression test comes in ?

I just don't think Lewis really ever got comfortable with the ground effect cars TBH

Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have been cancelled... But the wording makes it sound like they'll try and slot them into the Calendar later in the season - I hope they find other tracks to race the F2 / F3 as they're not running until Monaco in June now.
rformula1 - fiaofficial Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix will not take place in April

They’ve ruined this sport completely. The battery boost is such a mockery of what racing is, doesn’t involve any skill to overtake at all. The worst thing is the Netflix generation of fans are all over it thinking it’s the best thing ever.

Is it overly different to DRS? - Red Bull's strength at the start of the ground effect era with DRS was ridiculous as well

This is great to see from Hamilton after the last few years.

The Mercedes obviously in a league of their own, however the Leclerc/Hamilton battle is quite fun.

I know the Commercial Director at Ferrari. He said Charles and Lewis and closer mates than any team mate he has known. Always joking around in the garage, playing FIFA in the motor home etc

Oh Dear - Max slowing down.

Nobody likes to see the Dutch driver struggling after years of a dominant car.

    Said nobody ever

Seeing Max with reliability problems, and being screwed over by the Safety Car.
This race could have been a borefest and I'd have enjoyed that alone

Delighted for Kimi... He's such a nice kid... Lovely to see Lewis on the podium as well
Great race, but brilliant result again for Bearman!!

    Hamilton out drove Leclerc today.

And that’s a 41 year old Lewis against a Charles in his prime.

Leclerc is bloody quick so it’s testament to the job Lewis is doing with these regs so far.

Let’s not forget he was reeling him in last week as well. Shows how good he was 4 or 5 years ago

Outside of his car issues I thought he drove fantastic for a spell. He’s a brilliant driver, just unlikeable

You can’t help but like Kimi. He just seems like a nice lad.
He was obviously a bit overwhelmed by the occasion, but it’s good to see the human side too.

To be fair I quite like him when he's out of the car, I dont dislike his personality.
But he's just a bit of a muppet when he's behind the wheel, what with Spain last year for example
I'm surprised he couldn't close on Bearman more, but lovely to see Williams get points

Reminds me of Vettel, we all couldn't stand him behind the wheel back in the day but since he's retired he's become everyone's favourite ex racer and all round good human. Sometimes it takes being a twat to be successful in sport

Lovely from George to let Bono have that photo op with Kimi and Lewis... It took me far too long to remember the link

Brilliant from Bearman… didn’t even notice he was P5. He will be straight in at Ferrari once Lewis retires
