Had a great weekend in Naples.

Saturday Night we went to see Napoli vs Lecce (finished 2-1 to Napoli after being 0-1 down)

Slightly different vibe on Sunday, we went to FC Pompei v Reap Normanna in Serie D (we accidentally ended up in the away end with the 20 or so Normanna ultras!)

How was the city, I'd like to go there.  A lot of people say it is a bit gritty.

Alfreton v Peterborough Sports on the 14th March in a National League North game.
A bottom of the table game won by Peterborough, a nice little ground, a shame that the town is not the best.

Three days later I ventured upto Gainsborough to watch them play Hyde in a Northern Premier League game.
Gainsborough won very easily by 2-0, this ground is well worth ticking, and into the bargain you might bump into @SoundAsa£ :)

A few of us went up to Dumfries at the weekend for a pal's 50th. We did the hospitality at Queen of the South v East Fife. An entertaining 2 2 draw.

They looked after us really well and were delighted to have us along. We do a Scotland trip every year and this was my favourite visit. Palmerston Park is a cracker of a stadium.

East Fife brought along a band of 50 hardy souls and were rewarded with a decent performance from their team.

The locals were delighted to chat about Lyndon Dykes, who played for QotS. They have very fond memories of him.

I'm doing an East Fife visit in a few weeks,  looking forward to it.

Interesting to see they have a 3g pitch.

A shame we cannot bring this into League 2.

Lots of them do in Scotland. It works well as there are far fewer postponements these days.

Last Saturday took me to Bristol Manor Farm v Sporting Club Inkberrow in the Southern League Division One South.
A shocking game finished 0-0 and quite frankly they could have still been playing now and nobody would have scored.
However, the pasties and pies were absolutely fantastic and Non-League day boosted their gate to 270.
A cracking little ground and well worth the visit.

Went to Everton’s new stadium last night for the Scotland v Ivory Coast match. Nice ground, about 30 mins walk from the city with some decent pubs nearby* centre. Feels a little bit soulless but that may be a) it was only about 1/3 full, b) they only recently moved in.

*this was the first time I’ve ever been out in Liverpool, must have more pubs per square mile than anywhere else in the country.

The way people go on about a stadium being 'special and unique' as it's being built, because of the tilt of the stands or something, when you just know they all end up practically the same. For me it's almost impossible that they're not bland and soulless. All the fuss about the amazing feel they were going to create at Everton and look at that.

I'm glad designs have improved since the era of St Mary's, Walkers Stadium etc, and the location of Hill Dickinson looks good, but it will never be even a fraction of what Goodison Park was.

Have not been here or totteringham's new stadium.  How would they compare?
Liverpool cannot be beaten for a pub crawl and the old skool boozers.

Tottenham’s new stadium is beyond comparison. Absolutely fantastic place and best stadium in the country by miles. Shame the team isn’t worthy of their stadium!

I saw Gnistan 1-5 Oulu in the Finnish top league on Saturday. It was a very non-league set up, 1853 fans paid a minimum of €15 a ticket and €9 a beer

Anyway I'm constantly having 'Home Fans' advertised in my social media and they're finally trying to sell Charlton to me - £90 for Preston on Saturday!
