Going to be interesting when Millwall's plans finally come through - as it's technically public land, it's meant to be 50 per cent "affordable" housing, so I'm looking forward to Ronay's analysis when they come up with just 10 per cent

Not a pop, honestly, but would you describe Charlton as INNER south east London? South east London most definitely. But not sure about inner London. I mean, you can walk from The Den to London Bridge and the city, and I quite often do. But you couldn’t walk from Charlton to the centre of London.

Charlton is in the old London County Council area (and the schools were in the Inner London Education Authority) which is the traditional definition of "inner London". It might be an hour's walk from New Cross, but it's still inner London.MillwallFan said:

Charlton is inner London borough wise but not inner city.
Usually zone 1 and bit of 2 inner city.
Millwall, Chelsea, Fulham and maybe Arsenal inner city.
Us, West Ham, Spurs, inner London but not inner city.

Well I don't like to boast, but I once walked from Crystal Palace Park to the Thames Barrier, and it was one of those "local history" type walks that took in Beckenham Place Park, an Edwardian Post Box, Eltham Palace, and Shooters Hill so not exactly the "direct route". Inner / outer - who cares? if inner london was so great most wouldn't have moved to outer London and / or from the isle of dogs. If your looking for authentic south east London people if there is such a thing, you'll find a lot more of them in the suburbs and Kent. Anyway, Danny Baker, Barney Ronay (who ?), Daniel Day Lewis, Gary Oldman, Kellie Maloney (have i missed anybody?

I think we’ll probably miss out on top 2 but comfortably make top 6. Then it’s a one in four lottery chance of going up, as all the teams in the play offs are capable of beating each other on any given day. So now the seasons finished I thought I’d browse over a few old posts and pick a ‘that aged well’ one just to cheer myself up. Douchy gave me such a massive selection but this is probably my favourite. Another great prediction from Douchy. We only finished 30 points above you… 🤡DOUCHER said:
