People in their 40's who think they are old ("you ain't seen nothing yet, b-b-b- baby you just ain't see n-n-n nothing yet" as the song suggests).

Qualifying for an over 60 railcard :'(
That will knock 10 years off your age, travelling around more and doing so for free.

It’s nice you’ve got some young friends to do coke with.

When you see Ian Botham's grandson, James, score a try for Wales. And then find out that James is 28 years old!

That said, Ian was 22 when his son, Liam, was born and Liam was 20 when James arrived. Liam had three children from his first marriage and the second one has resulted in a child some 18 years younger than James.

How many Brum fans can fit into a pub toilet cubicle?
    At least 4 on Saturday.

Played badminton with my wife tonight, first time I’ve played for a while. The arches of my feet are fucking killing me, walking around the house like a 90 year old
Hope that's not Plantar Fasciitis, that's a real bugger.
Yeah, I’ve had it a couple of times in the past, not very nice at all.

Just dug half a garden bed 2 meters by half a metre, now can barely move!

  • Fck me I must be getting old. Surely that should be Royal Navy base
  • Was it Groucho who said
"A man is only as old as the woman he feels"
Maybe that's why I feel so old then?

Watching Raiders of the Lost Ark and seeing that it’s 45 years old. If I’d been watching a film that old when it was released, it would have been made before WW2

just filled the same bed with slate Chipping it needed 200 kg to fill but, getting tighter with old age, rather than buy 10 bags for about £300 bought a bulk delivery for about half the price. The delivery was the best part of a ton, and shifting it to various parts of the garden has finished me off!

Currently travelling up to London by train this morning. Now I’m retired I wonder how on earth I did this journey every day for years.

It’s hotter these days than when it was when you and I were younger. Old people in the UK then didn’t have to cope with heat like this. If they had similar hot days to contend with they would have had cars (and homes) with air conditioning like we have today and we would have had to dash off to Spain for a fortnight of sunshine once a year.
