He's been the keeper for 90% of our season and we've let in far fewer goals than those around us, keeping loads of clean sheets too. That's a combination of the defence and keeper but he's played a vital part in it
If we break down stats yes 11 is a very good clean sheet number, but he’s also 15th for save percentage, 11th for saves per 90, 18th for goals prevented, ranks bottom half for sweeping and claims. That’s not saying he’s been a bad keeper in the slightest he’s been decent not amazing not awful but being average doesn’t get you top 3 POTY, unless you’re Terrell Thomas in the worse Charlton squad in history0 -
