    I think if Ipswich go up Clarke may be available. Chambers seems to me to be a young lad who is improving. Not there yet but improving is good. He might be stronger next season and maybe if Liverpool see development they might keep him with us. I would be looking at securing those two.

    Chambers has 1 year left at Liverpool he’s promising but will never be a top prem Lb so they’d likely look to sell him on a permanent this summer to make some money

    We need to get Lloyd Jones on a new contract then see what we have left to spend once that’s done

    I think Chambers has a future but we need to be upgrading our current starters not just buying our current loan starters.

    Edwards is our number one LWB, if Jones wants a different profile of LWB then fair enough but a 21 year old Chambers as a backup who is at this current level despite having a year long injury with decent time to improve as a player and physically you could do so much worse.

    I don’t disagree but how much do you pay for a reserve lb?  Will Liverpool accept 500k
