    MAX YOU FUCKING BEAUTY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love you PM. Just won £400 off your tips and then always choose 13 as it’s lucky in my family. Your incredible knowledge is amazing thank you so much!
The feeling's mutual @Red_Chester - that could be the champagne talking of course  :)
Glad you made money, especially with Iroko.
    All the best

    Well done PM. As always!!!
    Cheers @Addick Addict
I've fancied Max since before his Irish GN and I absolutely love him.
I regarded myself a total arse for abandoning him last year to be honest.
Thought he had too much to do at the last today but he ATE up the ground.
As did Iroko to be fair.
Matches 2 of Rummies records. The 3rd next year??
    A GREAT GREAT horse

It would be good if Charlton did not announce or display the result on the screen today.

For those of us who try to avoid the result to watch it later.
I think it would be a good idea to start the race at 3.45 half time and show it on the big screen. Clubs could offer a lucky dip style sweepstake for a fiver a ticket.

Is that one of your best years yet Peanuts? Thank you so much!! You are the man! If the Champ had made 6 that would have been the icing! Bloody brilliant work.

Celebrating on the beers in cloudy Tenerife.

Shame our team lowered the celebrations!

    Best wishes to Mrs PM.

    Max
    Iroko :D
    Johnnywho
    High Class Hero
    Favori

Not bad. But all my bet-builder staff flopped mostly because of Grangeclare and some others.
Happy anyways, mostly due to Max - I held that antipost for a year, 25/1

Sad how it’s gone though when you get a 9/2 favourite win.
I mean this with no disrespect, but a 30+ grand finale jumps race ends with a winner that short, shows how times have changed, and potentially the desire of a (pick a name/number) winner.

Great result - well done, especially for getting on last year - the Bet Builders were a wash out for me too.
    Time for a bevvy.

That Leinster National malarkey really tested my faith but the ground was everything for him.
Great ride from James Bowen - maybe just made a little too much use of him early but he was loving it up front with Bill and Twig and Amirite.

Sure it used to be 3.50, then 5,00 now 4,00.
Like most sports, wish people would stop meddling with it.

Many thanks for your comments and kind wishes @Curb_It
She nearly bust the scaffolding in her mouth cheering Max home.

Very happy with 1st and 5th and near-misses from Final Order and the Champ but actually 2 years ago the model had 1st (Max) 5th (Kittys Light) and a Top 10 Finish in Roi Mage and in 2021 it also had 1st (Minella Times) and 5th (Farclas).
And way back in 2008 it had 1st, 2nd and 4th.

That said, I did up my total stake this year as I had a nice kitty from other races and seriously fancied Max ever since he ran such a good race in the Savills at New Year. So even though my Bet Builders were a wash out, £-wise it's well up there :)

Happy now that, with 3 of last 5 winners, the model has at long last almost adjusted for the major changes to the race (and type of horse that succeeds) over the last 13 years.
Nonetheless, as always, there's some reconciling to be done, as it certainly didn't fancy Johnnywho to get so close.

PS Another victory for N2a mtDNA !!!

Here Peanuts, how about you find us a £100 twig.
    Now that’s a challenge.
All the best mate, look forward to 2027

I bet on the four main horses you recommended @PeanutsMolloy but did it all this morning as have been busy and a bit short if spare cash until recently and was going to swerve the race this year.

As i now had some spare cash but not much time I didn't add Iroko which was a shame but i did have £60 each way 1/5 for 6 places on each of the four so came out very handily £800 ahead thanks to the fairly short odds win and the much longer odds place 😁

    Thanks again

Won my entry, food and drinks back on Maximus and cheered him over the line.
A wonderful day in a stand with loads of space, no queues and a great view.
The Scousers know how to party, some great after show entertainment, then the skys opened.
    Fab day.
Thanks so much as ever @PeanutsMolloy
