Just watched final two hours. 30 minutes from when Orton entrance started to the start of the match  :disappointed:

Crowd looked dead, no real wrestlemania moments disappointing really

To cheer myself up I'm currently rewatching the 6 way Hell In A Cell match from Armageddon 2000

Penta is astonishing, for a guy that's not built like most Luchadores, he has a crazy level of strength and athleticism

It would be awful if he returned after that. A great way to end his career.

What could have been if he wasn't part time.

Shame about the end to the main event, thought it was a bit lacklustre after everything that happened.

Apparently Reigns is going full time "all summer" according to him, who dethrones him at SummerSlam then? It's gotta be Gunther or Oba Femi at this point

The Sandman's final career match, against The Invisible Man managed by Bill Alfonso happened:

    https://youtu.be/tq3_IrStqcw?si=PopIrssUSSNJhKp_

There are some run-ins in the middle I don't care for but I think they had to pad out the minutes of Sandman battling himself. Then The Invisible Man starts taking out referees   :D

It's hard to sell it without spoiling but there is a final run-in all ECW+WWF era fans will enjoy.

It's the most I've laughed at a wrestling match, it's complete theatre and comedy.

As someone who hasn't watched any wrestling for months & missed most of the build up, I didn't really know what to expect, but I thought it was really dull.

Very few 'Wrestlemania moments' & more adverts than action.

I thought it must have been frustrating not to see any video packages before the matches (The main events being the exception)

Mania is where some fans dip back into to the product for a weekend, so I think it's a big mistake on WWE's part not to have any recaps to get casual fans engaged and up to speed.

The Brock/retirement storyline has a fairly obvious route IMO.

Gunther told Heyman he expected something in return for helping The Vision in their feud with Seth Rollins…

And in fairness, Gunther vs Brock is the one remaining match that simply has to happen before he calls it a day.

I think that's the best wrestlemania main event I can remember for a long time.

No interference, no real shenanigans, just two middle aged veterans who put on a 5* match.

Made up for night 1 imo, but I would like to see it go back to one night only. Feels more of an occasion that way.

Night 2 much better. Main event was good. Overall though these back to back Vegas Manias have been very forgettable

Haven't seen all of night 2 so apologies if this has been posted above, but what a promo!

Just watched the post-Mania Raw. You know, the one where it’s meant to shake up the show and kick off interesting new stories….

First match of the night….Rhea/Iyo vs Kabuki Warriors in a No-One-Cares match.

No one cared the other 20 odd times they did it in the past 6 months, why on earth do that on this show?!

At this point, I think they’ve just stopped trying!

Closure, they did a scene later on backstage where Iyo and Rhea decided to go their separate ways

My issue is all four were able to have a match but only one had a 'mania match, another a run in after being on of the best performers last year and zip for the other 2. First 'mania for 7 years or so with no Japanese wrestlers.

Night 2 was decent, night 1 will be forgotten like many 'manias of old. I thought Lesna v Femi, Cargill v Rhea and Punk v Reigns felt like mania matches with the build up. Orton v Rhodes should've and Rollins v Gunther could've if it had any actual logic. One of the worse overall for a few years after 40 being one of the best ever.

I know the rumour is Club WWE, but I'm hoping Cena's big announcement is a little more exciting than that.

    I'll never learn!

Might be the announcement of Wrestlemania in/near Tampa in 2029 or something like that. I think they're pushing for one, as is Indianapolis, Nashville and New Orleans are "owed one" for the debacle this year.

So they released Kairi then Asuka and Iro had match of the year on Backlash. 😕 The New Day have also left with Jeff Cobb who has to be one of the worst used signings i can think of. Bizarre.

Sounds like Asuka might be retiring, apparently hugged Iyo after the match and waved to the crowd like she was saying goodbye

Yeah that was concerning! Definitely looked like a wave goodbye.

Loads of great talent coming through like Oba, Trick and Bron.

I know it's not universally popular but I do like the Danhausen stuff, yes it's silly and weird but that's been a part of wrestling since the beginning.
I definitely don't want to see everyone start doing it and it's possible that the joke will run it's course but I'm enjoying it for what it is.

I'm enjoying it, but there's a danger that they'll over expose him while the going is good.
