The lease on the Old Mill in Plumstead is up for sale. Don’t know if that means it’ll be turned into flats or not.Hopefully the fact it’s listed and a difficult layout keeps it as a pub.
Although it’s not what it used to be apart from the music there.1 -
I think the Queen Vic in Walford and the Rovers Return in Weatherfield might both be facing closure in view of how many drinks they give away. They’re “On the House” in practically every episode.1

As I used to live nearby for 20 years, went to school on Maze Hill, worked just off Maze Hill and have frequented The Vanbrugh and it's previous guises. I know exactly where it is and it's not right next to Maze Hill station which is the point I'm making.Off_it said:

One pub on the corner of Colomb Street and Woodlands Park Road and a 10 second walk from Vanbrugh Hill.
The closest pub to Maze Hill station is The Plume of Feathers and the landlord was Jimmy Rose many years ago and I used to hang out with his daughter Maria.

Its not close to Maze Hill which is at the London end of Maze Hill station but it is close to Vanbrugh Hill which is not far from the Kent end of Maze Hill station3

Find it very hard to believe that that particular location in greenwich isn't commercially viable for the incumbent. Maybe it falls below their target rate of profit/ revenue.clive said:"Belushi’s in Greenwich has closed for good following plans to convert into a convenience store.

Also I think the murkydepths report is reaching a little for shock value. There is some way to go yet in terms of what can happen at the site even if Belushi's owner's close the current incarnation that is a 90s style bar/pub. A convenience store there would be the last thing I could image, but sure it may have been was mentioned in an earlier application as Murkeydepths states, but doesn't mean that is what it will become. But at least that report should trigger others more local than some of us, to take an interest!0 -

Just catching up on this... It's 'fine'...especially if you like standard lager (hello Madri) etc but if you want anything a bit more interesting to drink, then you're going to be out of luck....not even a Camden Pale to be had... So, for me, the drinks (or lack of variety of) make it a place I won't be going back to for a session... The food was absolutely fine too and they've done it out nicely, but it's just all a bit pitcher and piano for me.. That said, I live on Annandale Road (altho closer to The River), and my wife and I like the occasional weekend lunch out where we don't have to travel far, so I will no doubt be back....1
